Lots of things marked down at my local store. I reco strolling the drill bits, taps and abrasives. Also oil filter wrenches in automotive. Didn't take pics in the store, the following is only what I chose to purchase:

325 pc Swab-eez $8.09 (looked handy, I've often wanted mondo Q-tips in the shop)
Trailer marker light plug $3.05
5/8-11 and 3/4-10 tap $4.94
1/2-20 and 9/16-12 tap $3.77
6-32 and 8-32 tap $2.51
Small wire brush w 1/4 hex shank $1.97
Stanley hose nozzle (actually has a quality feel IMO) $8.99

Everyone of these items had yellow tags but reflected a slightly higher price, so my store has not updated the latest markdowns of the clearance stuff.

^^^^I just figured out that all the prices I posted above reflected a 10% discount from the sticker price 'cause I'm a "Neighbors Club" member. Ok, I'll take it.

Apparently today is the last day of this "sale" giving the extra 10% to members on clearance items.

So here's a decent deal if you own a newer 4wd: Valvoline full-syn t-case fluid at .99/qt. should work for the 246 in our '05 Yukon I think (despite the fact that I HATE auto 4wd with a passion). Also says it's fine for any t-case that calls for Dex/Merc anything. So for .99/qt you basically get full-syn ATF, although I wouldn't use it in any trans due to the friction modifiers (and possibly fewer detergents?).

Was .89 today w the 10% discount on clearance, which, BTW, rings up as such before I gave them my phone # thus being a Neighbors Club member is actually not req'd.

This huge oil filter wrench $4.99 (goes even bigger than what I used to use on FL1995's) and this UltraLube rang up $1.49 despite being priced higher. I threw together enough things and also used their $5 off $25 coupon

10% off everything. Great for Hobart welders that are on sale right now!

It is really rare anymore to see them offer 10% during dates that Hobarts are on sale. Which machines are on sale?

I also got a Blain's email for 10%, would put the 210MVP at $805 but I didn't run thru the cart to check shipping for myself.

The 140 is $469 and the 210 is $849 before the 10% off, putting them both at the lowest price for a new one.

Did you get that coupon in the mail or email?

My wife got that one via email yesterday. Ironically I got an email yesterday telling me to watch for my 10% code coming in the mail. So they're doing both right now.

They had some sets of camouflage sockets in the clearance bin today.
I was too stupefied by the crappiness of the idea to note the price

So when you drop a socket, you'll never find it?
That's half the reason why I don't like black oxide tools.

My daughter had a basketball coach who would wear camo, and she "daughter" would make comments like that to the coach.

"Hey coach, did you forget your shorts today?"

the wrenches are kind of a neat gift style idea... but lets face it, the finish would last about 8 seconds in my garage

I don't suppose anyone still has anything 10% off that's presently valid? The last ones ended 8/23 and it's a long shot I know.

No really a hot deal but I just bought a 3 point hitch post hole digger for $30 off and also had a 10% coupon. Normally $480 got it for $405. Also bought the 12" auger and got 10% off that but it wasnt on sale. Think it was $585 total

The sets of 3" cutting discs rang up $1.99. The air hammer springs were priced at .49 but are so old they're no longer in the system so they had to manually enter it.

Strangely...

In the event that you needed one, I'd have them check the cost on it. Father-in-Law lifted one up that had a $15 sticker on it, however rang up for $10.99. Quite I got some answers concerning the arrangement. Discovered mine a couple days after the fact at an alternate store with no cost on it.

What's more, from what I've seen TSC's costs appear to be far reaching, not territorial or store-particular like HD. So on the off chance that it's discounted at one, it's feasible going to ring up the same anyplace else. Special cases are one-off markdowns like harmed stock, chief attentiveness and so forth.

The issue with America is idiocy. I'm not saying there ought to be a death penalty for ineptitude, yet why don't we simply take the security marks off of everything and let the issue explain itself?

This is just creepy. It seems to relate to nothing above, ie WHAT is priced at $15 and rings up $10.99? And what are we talking about "taking the security marks off everything?"

Furthermore it seems to just be primarily a regurgitation of posts #5 and #6 early in the thread. Is this just a robot that re-hashes text? Some sort of new spamming? A user with 4 posts as I type this comes up with this garble?

edit: and now it's gone. Good job mods!

Hey the bots have to learn to function in society too!

I picked up a couple 7" grinder discs for about a dollar IIRC. They seem to work OK, but I mostly use thin wheels or a flap disc.

Ok, if you can still find any gallons of Goof Off they're down to $7.99 (but was priced $11.99 on the shelf). Compare to $23+ at most places including Amazon.

The ratchet straps were $20 just a few days ago but have now gone on clearance (yellow price tags) at $13.99. Not terrible considering you get 6 ratchet straps. I use these little guys in my truck bed mostly, ie I'm already tugging on sheetmetal so heavy duty straps are dumb. One problem, however, with these thin 1" straps is that they chafe very easily on sharp edges so use good judgment with your loads.

There's presently a ton of the ratchet strap packs in most stores (end cap of one of the tool aisles), so if you hold out longer & stock holds up they'll drop below $13.99 eventually.

The 18" F-clamp is not actually on clearance, but I grabbed 2 more for myself (only 1 pictured) as they're a solid deal at $15. More on the clamps here if you care:

These "bungees" are down to $3.59/can. $3.59 for 6 straps is a great deal. I use these extensively as tire chain tensioners on my tractor and low speed "ranch" truck use. Hold up way longer than expensive "rubber spider" tensioners.

At my store they were still in the cardboard bins behind the registers, approx center of the store. Left over from a previous promo, Dollar Days maybe?

Not clearance, but a solid deal:

TSC just brought in a stack of these mats. They call 'em wash rack mats. 1/2" thick. Home Depot normally stocks these at $25. These are $20 at TSC. I received a coupon card in the mail today for 10% off beginning 11/2. So if you can get one of the coupons $18 - - better than $25 at HD

I use these around all of my machine tools

$3.50 for 18-pack of 45 gal bags. ~.19 per bag is killer. I bought all 8 boxes (I'll use 'em)
