Hello all. I have a perfect black krl1023 with hutch. I am about to ask my snap on guy what I could get in trade for a 76 epiq power bank and possibly a hutch for the epiq as well. What do you guys think would be a fair deal? My 1023 is only a few years old.

I was in the same boat. I had a KRL 7022 with a top box krl1201 and I wanted a triple bank. I ended up buying a KRL1032 because the 68" Epiq and 76" Epiq didnt look like enough volume and surface area to replace my old setup. If your 1023 isn't full the 76" Epiq is a good choice but if you are in need of more space the 84" Epiq would be a better choice

IMO, 7K trade and no more than 10K price for basic new box, maybe 13 with stainless power top and workcenter.

Also, if you really want the power bank (I have one and really like it), then go for the 84" - it's just a few bucks more.

Also keep in mind, if you are ordering a box in, you can get custom drawer layout just by asking. For example what I did: delete the deepest narrow width drawer and fill in the space with shallower drawers (3 IIRC). No extra charge.

I went 84" when I traded, much more room. My old KRL 1023 was an oddball color (cranberry) and was probably several years older than I think. I was the third owner and they gave me $6500 in trade, of course this was the rock and roll cab express, ask you dealer about that and wait if you have to!

I am complaining trading my 1033 for a epiq or just getting 2 lockers for mine since I already have a hutch. I can get 2 lockers for $5500 with a free $1000 to spend on stuff. Or trade it all for a epiq.

After using the epiq for about 2 minutes I hated my 1023 and those dumb drawer latches. I know you can remove them, but my box gets moved a lot and I didn't like the idea of the drawers walking open.

After having a KRL locker, I found it sagged more than I liked to see once loaded down with stuff, so I much prefer the Epiq lockers. Wheels under them, more drawers, bigger.

Ok so about 7 for my krl1023 in trade. What could I possibly get them down to for the epiq 84 with hutch?

but on the Rock and Roll cab express you have the best chance to get the best deal.

This isn't true Strouty, they're nothing more than a rolling show room, they work with your local dealer to ultimately come up with prices/deals so in general you could of got that price any time. If your dealer is a hard *** and sticks to list you get list on the express too.

I just paid $6200 for a new 1023 with $2k of "free" tools included. There is one on Clist in our area for $5000, ad says almost new.
