Well I got it wired in. Now when I turn on my inverter it instantly trips the gfci on the inverter lol.
I got the "dogbone" that takes it from three wire 120v to four wire 120/220v. Everything else works on the inverter. I double checked my wiring, everything works on the line side of the transfer switch. The manufacturer says in the instructions that some Honda generators will do this because of a neutral/ground bond issue. I have yet to try the generator as it is winterized. Could my inverter have the same deal as the Honda generators? Could I just remove the gfci and install a regular receptacle?
Sorry for all the newb questions. Trying to do this right.
