Hey everyone,

I thought it would be fun to share some tube bending projects. Feel free to reply with your projects! I love seeing what other people bend into reality!

I have been busy in the shop, but finally found time to shoot a couple of videos recently. Here is the most recent video, outfitting a 10K flatbed into a purpose-built auto carrier. The video is hosted on my Youtube channel. I don't monetize the channel, so the only ads shown are putting money in YouTube's pockets, not mine. Subscribe/like/comment if you want to help the channel

Nice work, beautiful.

If you'd like some critique, I wouldn't have made the quick attach protrude onto the useful deck area. Next time you're hauling something square, you won't be able to put it tight to that front bar.

Yes, VERY good point. I mostly move vehicles/equipment, and when I move square(ish) things that are wide or centered I am aware I will be putting blocks on either side of the mount to use the front rail. In order to keep the winch relatively low, keep my existing tongue box, and keep the project complexity down, I accepted the drawbacks of the intrusion into my precious cargo area. Putting the whole thing about a foot higher and 8 inches forward would solve the issue.

Here is another video we made last year, intended to help people who have never bent tube learn the basics of the process. I address a few common challenges like rotation between bends and how to get 2 bend sin the same piece touching without cutting and welding the tube!

Wow- that's way above my pay grade! I have an upcoming project; making a rolling stand for a UDS smoker. The UDS is made from a vertical 55 gallon drum, so I have to make two pieces shaped like a long letter U, about 24" in diameter. I use 1/2" black iron pipe. I've made them before, with mixed results. All I have is a hand conduit bender, so it's tricky to get a smooth, even bend without twist.

Black pipe has a pretty generous wall ratio (Wall thickness relative to diameter). That makes it easier to bend in terms of deformation and geometry, but still tougher than round bar ;)

We came out with another video. This one isn't about projects, but it does finally go into nice detail about our pressure roller die option and a few other things you can configure on our machines. This video answers probably every one of the most common questions we get!
