Are there any lifts that have enough clearance to fit a trailer between the columns? The minimum distance would be 10'. Slightly less may work but I doubt it.

The 18,000lb 2 post BendPak has only 120" clearance between the columns. Challenger also has a 18,000 lb 2 post but its 120" also. I think those are the largest 2 post lifts of those two brands. The drive thru clearance is going to be less.

I know Rotary makes a wide two post, but I don't recall exactly how wide it really is. It was intended for work with vehicles such as the Hummer H1, and other wide 'trucks' and 'vans'.

Are you looking for a drive thru clearance of 10ft? I don't think there is a two post lift that has that width. The Mohawk System I doesn't have that wide of a drive thru clearance.

You need to be looking at the drive thru clearance of the lift. If your tires are no wider than 8 1/2 feet to the outside then you should be able to find a lift that will work.

The wide Bendpak 2 post XPR-10A has a drive thru clearance of 102".

Not being a smart a.. but are you sure you need 10' for the trailer? I thought the max. width of towable trailers was 8'6". My car trailer fits nicely between my bendpak 2 post lift. Maybe you have other things on your trailer that I don't. Just trying to be helpful. Good luck in finding the lift you need, I am sure someone makes what you are looking for.

Mine does. I mounted it 6" wider than "standard" as I use it on a lot of European cars that lift on the pinch welds. All that was needed was to extend the hydraulic lines by 6" each. No problems.

You can put the two Mohawk posts as close or far apart as you like since the columns aren't mechanically connected.
