I don't see much wrong with reselling/re-advertising on here... as long as..

a) It's still cheaper than normal because come on guys we're a team here!
b) You'd possibly have missed the deal (well I would have!) and as long as it still meets point a) then how bad can it be?

PS. I don't resell anything, I have no knowledge when it comes to tools as you can see!

Julian at Prime Tools should be able to get you anything in Protwist. The older Black Series, Ergotwist and Enduro are still out there in limited supply. SD

@ultgar thanks for that he is slightly dearer than machinemart on his web site but as I need quite a few I have emailed him to see if he can do some discount.

I have a few hundred Facom screwdrivers in stock but unfortunately I'm here in the US and can't help you.

Who are the big Facom dealers in the UK....

Prime Tools
Tool Academy
UK Tools
Machine Mart
JBL Tools

any others with competitive pricing?

Well Joe, as first posts go that's pretty hard to beat. Nice find.

I've been after some good quality long ball end hex keys for a while, and for £15
that's pretty much what you would pay for a set. I have never had any Whia tools
before and I was just wondering what the quality of the hex keys was like. Certainly
seems like really good value.

I haven't had chance to use them yet, although I do have some bolts to hand and the fit is spot on. All I have to compare them to is my set of 'Powerfix' Lidl specials and the fit is much tighter than those. The holder is nice too because you dont have to fold the other keys out of the way as they snap out at an angle. From 3mm up the keys are all marked Made in Germany if that's important to you.

But then for £20 odd I don't think you can really go wrong.

My favourite has to be the little stubby though, especially considering its about a tenner on its own.

Mine arrived today, wish I had bought more. :D

No, no. I've enough of that size ;).

They are also available in 6", 8" and 12" sizes. I would like a couple of pairs of each please :D.

You said you had a pair for a while - do you find that they replace adjustables, or do adjustables still have their place?

I did use them briefly today. I do like the ratcheting action, but you have to set them to the exact tooth to grip correctly, which is a bit of a nuisance.

I use a pair of these to grip the item and an open end spanner or adjustable to tighten / loosen.

Ive got some of the 6 and 8 inch, don't get as much use as the bigger ones though.

Recent talk of files on the old world thread reminded me that I needed to get some (the ones I've been using have been on long term loan and will be going back).

Anyhow I thought I'd look to see what I could find that was made in England. Not much if any are made here now, but I discovered these NOS files made by the now defunct company of Peter Stubs (1777-1990's):

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281052601032?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

£26.96 for a set of 8 various files in 8"-12".

Now hopefully nobody is about to come along and tell me that these are in fact rubbish. If not, the seller has several listings for various Stubs files.

I've purchased many different sets of files from this seller and I have been more than pleased with the quality. The prior batches he was selling had slightly more surface rust in places. I dipped mine in a product called Bilthammer for 1 hour which removed any trace of the surface rust. I then coated them with Boeshield T9 to prevent any further issues.

His file handles arent the cheapest and I found good UK made wooden file handles from shopping around other etailers.
