I think the seller has caught on that the P&P was wrong and has ended it early even though there were still 13 left.

The rest of you weren't fast enough!

Hello, its been a while since we have posted. We have been very busy working on lots of new products and the new sites navigation.

We have of course got new mega deals on the home page

Here:

http://www.motamec.com/

We have also got BGS Technic on the site now.

Ive been impressed with the BGS, its not Facom but its great value. The quality varies across the range if Im honest with you about it. Some of the swivel sockets are amazing and they make a lot of things which are hard to come by in other brands like 1/2 crowsfeet and automotive tools like a Haldex spanner. Worth checking out, and better value than other cheaper brands out there and even better on some things than expensive brands out there.

BGS Technic Tools

Thanks

Theres lots of feedback from people having to pay additional postage. Maybe he only pays the first £1.50 and you have to pay the rest:sly:

Hi
I just got a 36mm & 34mm socket in 1/2 SD BGS , About £8 a socket,
they look v/good.
BGS is the only one that make them in 1/2 sd.(looked all over the internet)

If Snap-on make them ??? £30 to £40

http://www.motamec.com/bgs-tools-12-socket-pro-torque-36mm-2936.html

Motamec are v/good, had some ratchets go missing in the post,
was replaced in about a week

Volkel Countersink Bit Set-

6 HSS Countersinks, a driver and a bit adapter

Driver has a Felo look to it?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221215159028?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

My first offer of £15.50 was not replyed to. Second offer of £18 was instantly accepted. 1 remaining.

Volkel is not quite Dormer / Presto quality but still fairly good.

New price of the countersinks alone is £55.

I like the hex shank and driver aspect and think they would be handy to deburr holes. But obviously can be used to countersink steel when used with a drill ( and probably have to go easy with the larger bits).

Is this set, from the same seller, made by Facom?

I saw it too and was going to post it up. I don't need it but am struggling not to buy it. It is excellent value.

I have an old ratchet nearly identical to it. It is the facom round head design and takes the Facom repair kits. It doesn't have the palm control feature and the handle is slightly longer ( although the same tapered shape). It is a brilliant ratchet!

I always assumed that it was made by Facom for different off-brands. I think mine was originally Sealey, but has no marks stamped on it

Thanks, I just bought the other.

I have just bought a few Noga tools for deburing but had held back on their countersinks as they are expensive, this should do nicely, thanks.

We have a small promotion in conjunction with VESSEL at the moment.

We've got a large range of MEGADORA EU screwdrivers in at bargain prices. With 40% off, you probably won't ever see them this cheap again.

For UK customers, we're also giving away a free high quality thru-tang PH2 screwdriver with every purchase of VESSEL tools over £25 net. Limit of 1 per customer. The freebie screwdriver is JIS compatible according to VESSEL, so a handy one to have in your toolbox.

Cheers,
Mark.

Once you try Bondhus you won't buy anything else!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271202960231

I got this deal ages ago:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230582411809

I was trying to undo a gearbox bolt with an 8mm Sealey socket hex bit but it started to turn without the bolt moving. The Bondhus are such a tight fit that, even though the inside of the head was now damaged, it managed to undo it.

I really want to get some Bondhus hex bits or sockets now but they seem really pricey over here. I'd settle for just 6mm and 8mm as they're the ones I use the most. Has anyone seen any good deals on them? I think I'll end up trying to find a US dealer who's UK friendly.

Superb deal on the individual screwdrivers.

Picked up a set of these the other day seemed a good deal.

Wiha Allen Key Hex Wrench Set Metric 1.5-10mm

£9.99 + 1.00 p&p

Sorry to disappoint you, but he is splitting the sets CanUK linked on page 1 of this thread.

Bondhus are fantastic, especially considering the price.

Wera gets a good name but are more expensive. Their hex bits have a concave profile and certaily take a good catch.

My solution was to buy a set of Trident hex bit sockets (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Trident-tools-3-8-Drive-7pc-Metric-Hex-Bit-Socket-Set-3-4-5-6-7-8-10mm-/181033158412?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item2a266ac70c). They are the replaceable type with a grub screw to lock them in. As they wear out I just cut up hex keys to replace them.

However note that for some stupid reason they initially stuck them all in with glue as well. I had to apply a bit of heat to loosen the grub screws, and pry out the bits.

If anyone needs individual Bondhus hex keys, we now stock them in ProGuard and BriteGuard varieties. Saves replacing an entire set if one is worn out or lost.

Hello, we have updated out mega deals on the home page again. Few of our own range of budget tools, some car rallying bits, a Beta mini bit screwdriver set which comes in a really nice little case, and lastly the BGS mini ratchet set I recommended the other week. Nice little set in a metal box, great quality.

Motamec.com/

If anyone wants to suggest something for next weeks Mega deals let us know.

Thanks

got a set of these today for my birthday, abit bummed that there is no 12/14. id have preferred those two over a 17mm but I guess il pick them up sometime.

for the money id say there worth it, theres minimal play in the ratchet heads and although they're not locking flexes they hold well, i did nip up the torx screws just for peice of mind.
