I thought i'd post in here as not many people seem to look in the classifieds.

I've recently changed profession at short notice and no longer have need for my Snap on KRL1251 red top box that I bought for my recovery van. I got about 2 months use out of it and it's still in fantastic condition. I won't lie and say I paid full price for it, but it was about £1600. It's located in Suffolk and I can have it put on a pallet if someone would like to arrange collection or collect it themselves. Have a look on the Snap on website for the specs. Although it's only a single bank box, it is 29" deep and massive!!!!

I don't want to give it away, but I just don't have anywhere to put it and it's too deep to sit on top of my KRL722 so would possibly suit a workbench??

feel free to PM me with any offers or questions. also happy to take as many pictures as you like.

Not really a tool deal but just a recommendation for Tool Line. I've bought from them a few times. They've been the cheapest on quite a lot of things and delivery is £2.99 or free over £50. I'm putting an order together for cutting discs, grinding discs, flap discs, etc and thought I'd compare with B&Q (B & Poo!):

Bosch 40 grit flap disc
£2.33 at http://www.toollineuk.com/search.php?search=2608605450
£11.98 at http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/power-to...m-x-40-Grit-2608605450-9806590?skuId=10197295

Bosch S 1542 K sabre saw blade:
£3.74 at http://www.toollineuk.com/product.php/section//sn/2608650681
£18.98 at http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/power-to...S1542K-Wood-2609256703-9806802?skuId=10197507
The different codes are down to retail and trade packaging. The blades are the same.

Hi guys on googling for an impact driver and discount codes I came across the garage journal site so I have registered and would like to share a deal I put on HUKD, thought 176.35 delivered for a Makita BHP458E with 2x3.0ah batteries, fast charger and case was a great price. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/mak...ompact-2-speed-combi-drill-with-2-x-3-1914236

Now I'm looking for a deal on the impact driver below as I have a lot of big coach-bolt work to do and would save me doing pilot holes first

Makita DTD146Z 18v Cordless Li-Ion Impact driver ( Body Only )

The cheapest I can find is 75.72 quid odds delivered at lawson-his, before I purchase I was wondering if anyone can find it cheaper for me, many thanks in advance.

I recently bought a Makita DTD129RFE and I've been really impressed with it. I had a load of cable tray to fix to the wall 3m up and the Makita performed brilliantly. Screwed 200+ 6mm hex head screws in and the battery still had plenty of charge left.

I got mine from Lawson HIS, couldn't see anyone offering a better deal.

Yeah I had seen the 129 brushless too , that sounds impressive was that on a 3ah battery too? Had heard the brushless have a longer run time right enough. Also its slightly lighter than the brushed equivalent so handy for overhead work, tight spaces etc.

Yep, that's with the 3Ah battery. I was using these screws and the hex head worked really well with the hex driver adaptor. No chewed screw heads to worry about.

I was surprised how compact it is, really handy for squeezing into tight spots.

I agree Mark - great screwdrivers (especially at your price). They are certainly worth a bit extra over the Wera chiseldrivers.

Fantastic service as always

Thanks for the positive feedback N.I, it's appreciated. Glad you're happy with the screwdrivers. I might get some myself, my old Witte's are worn out now.

Cheers,
Mark.

Cheers,
Mark.

These look good! Zooming in to the pic's it looks like the blue ones include a couple of Pozidriv's and the red one's a couple of Phillips, although the description is different! I'm thinking these are JIS Phillips and well worth acquiring!

Im gunna be selling off a few tools in the next few months and was wondering if anyone would be interested or if anyone could give me a idea on of value on the lot, if i would make more selling it as a joblot on ebay or individually?

I have a set of gearwrench non reversible ratchet spanners, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18-mm.

sealey reversible ratchet spanners in 8-19mm.

gearwrench ratchet screwdriver set, this contains a ratcheting driver and a bunch of different shanks to fit 1/4 sockets and 1/4 hex. comes with a selection of 1/4 hex bits and also a stubby ratcheting driver.

set of gearwrench flexhead ratcheting spanners 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 19.

set of sealey pro max screwdrivers.

genius impact socket set shallow and deep 7-22mm.

sealey 1/4 socket set, deep and shallow.

sealey 1/2 socket set, 10-19 plus 21,22,24 iirc.

all of the stuff is used but working order. theres also a few ratchets (sealey) and other bits like sealey torx and allen bits, extensions, adapters, sparkplug sockets. just a general selection of tools for vehicle maintenance, was thinking ebay it as a joblot for apprentices/people starting out? but have no idea of the value.

Actually the pictures aren't 100% accurate, they are both PoziDriv sets as described. However, all is not lost because we do sell the individual matching Phillips screwdrivers separately if you need them (for either set).

Hmmm, not far from me so tempted, but Mansfield is a bit of a risk - it's a bit rough!

What does a Mansfield lass use for 'protection'?

Just got my set of a Vessel drivers through!

For those that havn't seen these, they are pretty good! Although I normally avoid 'dual component' handles as I would the plague (the dual components being soft and softer, and thus prone to damage) these are good and solid! At this price this is an awesome deal!

There's some other pretty decent stuff on the website too! including some bits that are getting hard to find!

I like the way these guys list the country of origin for each item too! A big help and highly recommended!

Buy the Halfords Industrial 6 Drawer Tool Cabinet & 6 Drawer Tool Chest for £349.99 and get a free 25pc Spanner Set*

i thought that was a good deal. Spanners are of usable quality - they are not the advanced profesional range so dont carry the lifetime warrenty but are perfectly servicable.

i bought a set for 49.99 (probably what they are worth as oppose the 99 RRP they have)as it was the cheapest way of getting 24-32 at the time for working on a steering problem.

Has this thread died a death ??

I stumbled on the site, from the UK whilst looking for the manufacturer of the Halfords industrial black tool chests, as I think they are a cracking quality, just wondered if there were any other designs available?? As I'd like more deeper drawers really in a second and or third set.....

Then read this thread from the beginning looking forward to the latest deals, but the thread just stops :(

Not a whinging first post, just hoping to resurrect a good thread :)

Jealouse of the US prices and availability too .

Is there cheapest Facom dealer anywhere too?? I want the 20" tool bag for an indoor set of tools

Cheers Nick
