Thanks, I've bought the drill set too. Zoro are cheapest for Dremel EX SpeedClic cutting wheels (12 for £9.99) so bought them too.

Amazon have a cheap set of 12 GearWrench 72 tooth ratchet spanners from 8-19mm. Be aware, these seem to be lesser quality than GearWrenches usual stuff. Check the bad reviews on Amazon. However, if you don't have a set then they're worth a punt for £28 as long as you're not going to beat on them. GearWrench 9412BE set £28.32
They also have a couple of returned "as new" sets for £27.75 as well.

How do those ratchets reverse? I don't see any levers or do you just have to flip them over.

Yes. Flip them over. Same as flex head ratchet spanners. They will also be flat rather than having an offset on the ring ends.

Felo 057 981 06 Assortment of Socket, Multi-Colour £7.60 (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Quote from a review 'The box also has Felo Made in Germany on it though I'm not sure if this refers to where the sockets themselves were made or where the items were put in the box.'

Peddinghaus Recoilless Hammers with Hickory Handle.

30mm £15.39
35mm £24.72
40mm £19.82
50mm £17.24

Not sure who makes hammers for Peddinghaus or what the quality is like. Also not sure what the retail prices are. Searching the part numbers brings up varying prices. The 30mm and 50mm look like good value though for deadblows with wooden handles.

'15% discount on everything' at motointegrator.

I tried a mock order, but couldn't see where to enter the code. :dunno:

Also noticed that some of their prices have gone up since my last order so it may be a bit of a scam.

Knipex UK Advent Calendar. UK only so posting here.

Day one prize is a KNIPEX PreciStrip16 (12 52 195).

You need to enter your full address to enter, not just email. I'm normally cynical about this sort of thing as the data gathered is worth more than the prizes, but free tools!

Mobile link, but works ok on PC.

Unfortunately doesn't work if your house has a name instead of a number...

Worth asking Post Office for your number for these sites. AutoDoc does the same and every house apparently has a number even if it’s just named normally.. so I was told..

Just been in my local Halfords. Looks like they only had the new foam trays so half price plastic trays may be a wild goose chase.

I don't have one
Re: >>>>> UK Hot Tool Deals - Post Them Here! <<<<<

First Post here! Love the idea of this thread.

Had a quick look on Halfords based on the above and saw these tin snips @£10 which includes delivery.

Can't post a link as I'm a newbie but they're item number 439219. Stick that in the search bar on Halfords website.

They come out at £9.50 with a trade card and there's 2.5% back with topcashback. Probably even cheaper with bluelight card or similar.

I've got a set on the way. Not that I necessarily needed them, but for that price I couldn't resist.

Happy new year fellow tool freaks!

Bosch Professional GRO 12 V-35 Cordless Rotary Multi-Tool (Without Battery and Charger) - Carton £61.99

TOOL ONLY - NO BATTERY

Showing as 'deal of the day'

I bought one of these a while ago and sold it on as I found it difficult to handle compared to Proxxon and Dremel. So, not recommending, but it gets good reviews, so maybe it was just me. :dunno:

I have the 125mm size of these Cobras and they come in handy regularly. Checking my records, I see I paid £15.69 for the smaller ones over 7 years ago so that's a good price for the 150mm.

I want a pair, but cannot think of a situation where I would use them. :(

They’re smarter than water pump pliers, no-one can cope without a set of these, although the knipex wrench pliers are even better!
