A couple more BGS items I came across today. No real idea how good they are though.

These are a fraction of the price I paid a few months back.

Not sure what the proper price is on this one to know if it's a good deal or not. Was over £100 on Amazon UK. Currently €85.00 on Amazon DE.

Britool/Facom Expert 3/4" breaker bar £31.27 at Amazon

I bought a "Used Like New" one off Amazon 2 years ago for £33.12 and it's been handy for things like hub nuts where they want to tighten to a certain torque and then add 90 degrees. I've also used it as a giant pry bar sometimes! It's over 1m long and really thick.
Primetools have it on offer for £95.94

I use a cheap BGS 3/4 to 1/2 adapter for 1/2" sockets. Amazon sell new BlueSpot one for £8.85 but I'd just buy the "Used- Very Good" one for £7.85

Be aware 180mm is quite small for locking pliers and Knipex locking pliers are not made by Knipex.

I bought a pair of those long Knipex pliers July 2019 for £21.67 and was using them today to thread some sensor wires through the depths of an engine bay!

Hi Guys

Has anyone on here imported to the UK from Amazon Japan.
Unlike the US site it will not accept my UK registration, so I assume I need to set up a seperate account. I fancy some Tone and KTC wrenches but it looks relatively hard work to someone who rarely uses Amazon.
Cheers

Hey. Was hoping someone else would reply as I have only purchased from Amazon JP a couple of times. Yes, you have to set up a separate account. Buying was easy enough, just have to convert from Yen.

When searching, use part numbers if you can as translation may not work for words like spanner/wrench etc.

I can recommend Ninja Tools on Ebay for KTC. He has special ordered KTC spanners for me in the past. He communicates well in English and was helpful/friendly. I got stung with import fees though, which put up the overall cost quite a lot. This is where I cannot advise you as I'm not sure if Amazon JP includes import fees or not. I have subsequently only made low cost purchases from Japan to avoid fees. Not sure how many people view this thread. Maybe worth asking in the Japan thread.

If you get stuck buying from Amazon JP. I can try to help.

Hi, you can use this website to track prices on amazon.co.jp, prices fluctuate a fair bit. https://keepa.com/#!product/5-B01DIK726I

Milwaukee clearance at tool station 👍 lots of great deels you just need to look
Thanks, I got a bunch of the Thunderweb drill bits. I've had good results with their Shockwave bits so thought I'd try some of these.

The cheap drill is a good deal as it comes with 2 x 2amp batteries and a charger for £75.

GEDORE 8245-200TL 6730720 200mm Combination Pliers £10.66

I bought a pair in 2019, and received pliers with blue handles. I think this image is out of date. :dunno:
