Just curious if anyone has received these (or even a shipping date)? Mine is still showing "Not yet dispatched"

It arrived!

I ordered after posting the link expecting a no show but it did arrive around a week after I ordered.

I noticed that a while after I ordered, it went NLA and then came back as 'out of stock but order now' so I'm guessing that the first batch was accounted for and then they offered a second batch for sale?

Quality wise, it's less than I'd hoped for given its normal selling price. I'm not really sure what I was expecting to be honest. The only Unior items I have ever owned have been tyre levers for my bike (which are excellent by the way). The finish on the metal isn't the nicest and the handles are pretty hard plastic.

Given that it only ended up costing me £8.68 I'm happy though!

There was some sort of incentive on amazon where you got £10 discount if paying by mastercard so for less than 9 quid it's still a bargain.

I'll grab some pics when I get home if you like?

My friends been disappointed by the Unior ratchet spanners he bought. Apparently they keep skipping ratcheting direction without him touching the direction lever.

Mine is 'Not yet dispatched.' I've had out of stock items turn up out of the blue sometimes, but not much hope for this one. I have a Unior 1/2" ratchet and really like it. Kept it and sold on a Stahlwille and Gedore. Not sure what I like about it though. Just feels right, despite the plastic button and switch.

Surprised it turned up, at under £20 that's probably the best post here since the 3/4" torque wrenches a while back.

Surprised at this as well, thought Unior was considered kind of low rent Gedore. Got the impression the point of buying Unior was for decent quality sockets and spanners on the cheap. Haven't got the air of prestige the German makes have so Unior stuff flies under the radar on ebay and such.

Güde BH 18-201-30K Cordless Hammer Drill, Blue, Red, Black £42.03

NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Not sure if something like this would be any good. Watched a few youtube vids of similar small sds drills, and they look quite good for the size/price. :dunno:

well someone grabbed 'em. They would have saved me a bit of time on the crust bucket last weekend, and presumably the future.

Some more from KS tools. These are price reductions, but I get the impression that the original prices may be over inflated. Reduction may just put the prices down to the real value. :dunno:

thank you, but they are no longer available.

They must have sold out after I sent that link. Sorry to hear that. If you do keep an eye on them over the next week or two, products often come back at the same price. No guarantee but worth a shot. Prices of KS Tools are fluctuating a lot on Amazon lately.

Does 'M' sizes mean ribe rather than torx plus?

Good deal. Wish I had a use for them.

Great deal on the tester, I've ordered one too 👍
Can I ask how you guys find these deals on Amazon etc? Do you get notifications of the reduced prices or do you just trawl the site for hours on end? 😁

My main excuse is lots of downtime at the moment. Its a mix of stuff left in baskets, keepa, heidoc and camelcamelcamel in addition to adding &pct-off=50- to the end of the amazon url (change 50 to whatever % you want off). It still takes a while to shuffle through to what might be considered useful though and the above imperfect means all miss good deals regularly. I'm sure there's far better here at it than myself. It's buying stuff when you don't need it in the assumption that you will sometime and being sickened by when you need something pricey that you should have bought a year ago. Deals on top tier stuff (Hazet, Stahlwille, Gedore, PB Swiss, etc) are less regular than on the likes of Bahco, KS Tools, BGS etc. It's a great time killer for sure.
