Stuff I've come across lately all sold by/despatched by Amazon UK. Bahco Bit set 59/S31B; Gedore pry bar (oal 12" I think) and Bondhus Gorilla Grip 1.5-6mm hex key set.

Facom 1/4" sockets £30 on ebay. Think that's quite a good price.

Mayhew 14120OR Dominator 58 inch pry bar with orange handle £58.44 from Amazon US or £65.88 from Amazon UK. The usual price is over £100 including shipping to UK but Amazon US is selling it for $38.86 right now. You can buy it through Amazon UK but it's cheaper from Amazon US. Either way, there is no duty to pay but VAT is added to the price so no extras to pay. The listings below show the incorrect picture but title and description are for this:

Amazon UK Listing - £34.62 plus £31.62 shipping = £65.88 including VAT
Amazon US Listing - $38.86 plus $27.33 shipping plus $13.24 VAT = $79.43
If you choose to pay Amazon US in GBP then it comes to around £60.17 but I used a card with no currency exchange fees (Curve) and it came through at £58.44.

I've got one of the OTC control arms hooks so this will work well with that.

Mitutoyo 505-731 Dial Caliper £49.68

NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

I don't know anything about dial calipers. There looks to be a range from Mitutoyo with slightly different part numbers. This one looks to not have depth measurement. £150-200 on other websites.

Sam outillage 241-37 Ratchet Crimping Pliers for Ferrules Protection £17.72

Random price drop. Don't know anything about them. Had a quick google and think they are normally about £140 :dunno: I guess anyone looking out for these will know if it's a good price or not.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Yeah that's what I thought (from the Sam website, though not much detail there), but it's a bit different than most of the other bootlace ferrule crimps available (as far as I've seen). Will see how well it works I guess.
Ff to 17 mins Edd China explains them, new id seen them 👍

I think this is a generic meter that is sold under various names. Maybe the same as this one. :dunno:

Sorry, I'm really not clued up on Makita stuff but I seen that impact is £160 at Screwfix and £155 at Toolstation so thought the Amazon price seemed good.

It was good (you can get them for £125 elsewhere when I looked and £15 off is worth having) but you never see really great deals on good power tools and it was the hi spec one, I got it ordered for my brother to use because up to now I have only had a Bosch impact wrench which we have both used, so thanks for posting it.

Not exactly a hot deal, but don't laugh - Aldi 1/4 drive socket set.

1636121848896.png

I bought one a few years ago as a "doesn't matter if I break it" set to be abused - and I have. I've even turned down a few sockets down to get into tight spots, thus weakening them, and still it carries on just working.

So good I brought another for when I do finally break or lose something from it. My only complaint, as an ever-increasingly needing spectacles bloke, they changed the size of the engraving on the side of the sockets for size, making it harder to read.
