Your project continues to impress. I look forward to seeing it completed. Although not quite as much as you do I'm sure:D

Audicon, progress has became painfully slow, since I've gotten back to work. My goal was to get it dried in for the winter and I'm nearly there. Thanks for the kind words, it helps with the motivation to keep plugging away. It is hard when it's dark when you leave for and return from work, to get much done.

I love this build! Whats new?

Sean, it's been rather slow progress wise, I have placed some more concrete recently. Poured two pads for bike lifts that will be recessed into the floor.

Poured some more wall, shrunk down an opening for a door as I changed the size needed.

Other then that, just cleaning up around the place getting ready for the white stuff to fall.

Thought about your place as I was going over the pass this weekend. Since it was 41* and raining in the middle of the day, I'm betting the white stuff is coming soon! I love seeing the progress and look forward to more updates. Congrats on the new job, but I hope that work thing doesn't get in the way of the important stuff too much.

Just amazing all around, honestly the house, this garage, the scenery...have all been a bit of a glimpse of paradise in my eyes. Living 10 minutes outside downtown Pittsburgh, there's no place I'd rather live than where I just finished reading a thread about. Cheers to you sir, can't wait to follow along future updates.

OMG!! What an awesome build!! Pretty fine attention to detail!!

Thanks OCD! This forum has been my inspiration. So many great garages/shops/people on here it is amazing. It's been tough the last couple months, it's dark when I leave and dark when I get back home, plus it's been cold. But the recent comments on my thread have re-energized me to keep progressing! Thanks again, will update soon.

Cool Can't wait to see more. How's the snowmobiling?

YJ4000- Worst year in a loooong time for snowmobiling. Every time it snows at my place it has been followed immediately by massive amounts of rain. A couple guys I know have been out, it is no good, a lot of creek crossings and low snow (lots of hidden stumps/rocks). No fun at all. Hopefully the snow will be on its way soon. Even though I need to replace the engine in my snowplow, it threw a rod!:willy_nil

This whole build is incredible! I have always loved large buildings like this built into a hill so that they don't look as big (although this one still looks huge!). Keep up the great work!

So I have been real busy at work-not getting anything done on my build. The good news is I was able to stash up some money to get going again. But in the mean time I will share some photos of what I've been working on. First off we installed a water retention vault the vault measures 31'x189'x 16' tall.

Currently building a underground parking garage ontop/around the vault. Parking garage measures 305'x61'x10' high. there will be a PT deck, then 4 stories on top that, building up and into the hill, connecting to the existing structure. This is an assisted living center. Its a lot more residential then I usually do, but its a nice change of pace.

Hope you enjoy the pics.
I cant wait to get moving forward with my build. Its been the worst year in my memory for snow. maybe a foot of snow all winter, Normally would be at least 4' on the ground now. ZERO snow on the ground for months!

Thanks for sharing, are you an engineer? I look forward to seeing updates, I love your garage and the setting reminds me of Vancouver Island.

Thanks Sean. I am a Construction Superintendent.

You are a busy man, I know that for a fact... I work beside Superintendents as I am Safety Manager and I know they normally have 1000 things on their plate at all times. Hats off to you, and glad to see you have your "escape" at your garage.
