When I had the inground lift in my garage, I'd roll my used oil barrel on it, raise it up, back my truck to the lift and load it off the lift.

I also thought the lift was in the living room. And I thought to myself, "Daaaaaaang, if he's got a wife or a live-in girlfriend, he's the luckiest man ever."

Would you post some more photos of your garage / living room? If you have them. Looks like you have a really nice set up.

when we're slow at the shop, i put a bar across it and work out. i can get most of my upper body done before i even hit the gym. pull ups and dips are the norm. plus if you have a lift where the legs dont lock it helps you work on form cause the legs can move.

ive also lifted my mowers (61 inch yazoo-kee)with em to change the blades and clean the decks

I'll take some photos this weekend and put them up. Garage is now 99% done. About all that's left is to put up large screen tv and install track lighting along the soffits on both side of garage.

I use mine to lift things in and out of my truck all of the time.

I needed to lift vertically, a 14" square piece of 1/2" wall tubing that was 8' long and set it in a base; and used the lift. The tube weighed over 700 lbs. That was an interesting task.
