Good morning guys, I’m redoing my kitchen and have 2 vents under my cabinets. There was nothing really there before just a vent in the toe kick with the heat filling the area up below the cabinet. I was wondering what you guys do for this. I saw the kit from the toe ductor but 70-80 bucks a kit seems crazy. I looked at menards for pieces to make something similar myself but couldn’t really come up with anything.. thanks for any help!!

I have this same setup in my bathroom. There is a blower that kicks on/off based on a thermostat somewhere. I have no idea where the thermostat is (I assume it's in the blower), what it's set to, or how to change it. There's a wall switch to provide power during the Winter. It works, but it doesn't provide a ton of heat, and it's noisy as hell.

I'm looking for alternatives when I remodel.

you can use a pc of 3-1/4x10 duct under the cabinet, cut into the toe kick . close the one end off. cut a hole thru the subfloor , put a pc of 5" round into a hole cut into the duct or use a fish lock collar . 3-/4 x10 floor vent is a standard size

Two different setups discussed above. Kickspace heater and just an outlet for hvac. That location is better then the floor that will fill with dirt when sweeping.
