Undercabinet lighting

Gotta look at the Kelvin ratings.
As my eyes get older I'm really liking the 3000K instead of the classic 2700 incandescent for living room, bedroom, etc lighting and around 4000K for work areas. Anything else is just too blaring. Haven't decided what to do for under cabinet lighting. I'm about to redo the kitchen so I'll have to decide on 3000K or 4000K because the kitchen is both a living and work space.
I typically go with the better quality 3k .... it's a better match to the halogen incandescent. 3k is nice light ... If you work in a color room (picking colors) they are set up with very precise lighting -- in both light temp and lumen output. Almost everybody likes working under 3k at high lumen ... even younger people who have lived under more blue light.
With light --- most see 3k as dim --w/o understanding the Lumen issue. More watts needed at 3k. It's an interesting dilemma -- under what light should colors be developed? In my case it fabric ...
4k+ was often used in FL because it was the highest Lumen per watt years ago.
Lot of cheap LED lights have high K ... cheap filters.
I remember years ago -- one of the standards used a 60w bulb. It was a common bulb --- that provided output and long life. The 75w came later and was widely available ... but, people still used the 60w out of habit. The 100 had a lower life as well. I'm talking a long time ago -- way past when they life was much different.
IMO -- really good 3k is the best

I love my 24” shop light. Motion sensed too so it’s damn handy when I go out to the garage for a tool or a beer. GF loves the fact it senses our cars too when we pull in. I love the fact it shuts off after 10 minutes. Since I just doubled up my work bench I gonna put it in the walk in closet of her crafts room and proceed to a linkable version of a motion sensed light.
