Thanks for all your hard work. I'll be standing by to see where I fall in the #'s.

Is there any other type of payment method available that offers buyer protection?

Google wallet may be an alternative here. I mean everyone loves Google, right?

I understand that things happen, but here is my request and concern. I had to find out all of this is happening from another site. It clearly states that all updates were going to be posted on page one, but there has not been anything posted there for over a week. I think to keep it simple and keep everyone well informed, post updates where it was said they were going to be posted. Again, like it has already been said, thanks for all the hard work.

I counted the people listed in Green on the list. If that is accurate, then the 120th person falls on number 217 of the list. Would this be accurate?

Update: Now that I have read most of the thread, is this correct. It doesn't really matter where you are on the list, it is the first 120 who actually paid..... I guess we will have to wait for that list to be posted....

My name has disappeared from the list. Did I miss something? I was green and paid a few weeks ago.

Will the Chinese do the deal split in two? Maybe send what they paid for and then with the first delivered, paypal will release the money.
Maybe have people than can MO, send in the MO and then refund them from the held monies.
Is there an electronic MO outfit beside western union that would remove the mail delay?

Hmm. Well that doesn't make sense. I never backed out. Must be a mistake. Sending a PM to moose. Thanks for finding that needle in the haystack for me.

Geez. I figured it out.

I had done the search function for my name and it automatically highlighted it red which is why I thought I was labeled as backed out. I am green. Too funny. Thanks.

Sorry you are having these issues, but I will let you in on a little secret. Paypal *****.

Glad I paid with a USPS MO, and I am still in.

This.

We have hundreds of thousands of dollars in PayPal transactions over the last 9 years (we send money out!), and they still will lock our account at various times for various new pieces of information, "issues", etc.

PayPal is godawful. I can see how they need to be extra careful, especially if they are offering protection on all this, but then they don't dedicate any extra resources to handling it in an expedited manner with someone with a pulse who has the authority and intelligence to deal with the situation in a manner which makes sense.

Just a heads up (not sure if already posted) but once you hit $20,000 on Paypal they file it as income. Not sure how much you've used it besides this

I'm sure i'm in the first 120, but i would send a mo just to stick it to paypal as I do not like the company at all, If that helps another person stay on the list im good with that.

I might not have read closely enough in the previous 4 or 5 pages, but was it decided if the resolution would be:
1. Pay MO, then receive PP refund. Or
2. Receive PP refund, then pay MO.

I want to still be in, but my budget can't float another $250 at the moment, I would need to do option 2.

Invoice number is in the paypal email he sent you so you knew how to pay and he would get your address. Search your email for PayPal and you will find it. I am in the 150's on the list but invoiced under 50. :)

Hell, my problem is I remember where I was on the list, but I have no idea what my invoice number was... Am I still in or out?

Your invoice number is found with your Paypal invoice. Please check your email from Paypal. Yours is #194.

I have a high invoice number, if there is a spot open for PayPal When everything washes out I would love to get a cutter, if not then its no big deal. As much as I would like a cutter I cant afford to pay cash for a money order right, i put this on my credit card till I get some stuff sold. Thanks for all the hard work work Sean.

I'm sure the headaches are only beginning, thanks for your hard work! If PayPal completely falls through, I got an email about an escrow service from the Nigerian government... They should know a lot about escrows, right?

I'm going to bow out and take the refund. You can keep the extra I sent separately for all the headaches, kids' efforts, and warranty parts.

I just checked and found my invoice number is well under the cutoff. I feel like I won the lottery!
Relieved to still be in and hopeful there are no more bumps in the road.

Aquamoose, really appreciate all you've put into this and thanks for sticking with it and working through the unexpected challenges.

Wow, that was a lot of reading to catch up on this transaction! I'm green on the list so I think I'm good to go. Kudos to you, Sean, for your perseverance.

Just a heads up, the list is not an indication of making the cut (color or number). You need to check your PayPal invoice number.

Luckily I'm #17. Thanks for still carrying on with this Sean, and sorry about the added headache.
