I still haven't heard from AquaMoose, any way you can PM me? I am #75, in the original group, paid, and getting a little nervous that I still haven't heard anything...

I wouldn't worry about it, I haven't heard anything yet either.

I'm not going to bug Sean about it seeing as he has over 200 of these things to pack and ship out..

good point. Heck just monitoring this thread alone will take up all of a guy's free time, let alone dealing with the logistics of packing shipping invoicing emailing etc...

Did you send him an email?

yes 3 times, and once was to his personal email that he originally used...

my concern is that my paypal account has an old email listed that I don't have access to anymore, and paypal won't let me change it...

but He does have my current email as he emailed me the invoice originally and I got that as well as another email from him when this first started...

but I see from the folks that did get emails are all over the place on the list...so he's jumping around some.

#216,200,353,174,61,305, etc....

It was 6 pallets.

I'm VERY careful to ensure that I have a living person on the address end so there's nothing to be concerned about due to the redundancy I set up. No response = no shipping unless I get confirmation. Those that have sent shipping instructions WILL be noted. When there's some remaining at the end of the batch that haven't responded, I'll contact them individually, call them, PM, write them, etc. Worst case is I'll send the funds back to them back to the same address given.

I HAVE seen your responses. If you replied that you're set to receive them with no restrictions, I've noted them and moved you along to the "Ship the Cutter!" category.

I'm just working down the list, starting with Paypal to free up some of the funds that's still there and then it goes to the MO list. I'll be doing a large second round of shipping tonight for tomorrow's shipment.

Last night, I took a bunch of pictures of the cutter and made some observations and came up with some solutions / tips which I think is important for all of you to know before you unpack your cutter. I'll get this up tonight before the first guy receives his so please watch for it later.

Again, no worries... I hear you, I've read your emails. If I need clarification, I'll contact you. If you sent only PM's, I'm not going to pay too much attention to it since it doesn't archive conversations very well so please stick to the email route. I apologize if I appear to be"inhuman" for not responding to some of your emails. Hopefully with the arrival of the cutter and the upcoming post tonight will make up for it. To put a personal touch to each one of you, I have personally touched every box and applied each UPS shipping label.

Man, I wish I could get out there to give you a hand! I'm sure you won't be volunteering for another one of these anytime soon... If you do need someone to handle notifications or whatever let me know.

Sean, glad to see you have surfaced from your arduous task.
It is also nice to know you have a system, the green people first and then the gold.
Maybe that will slow down the Is it here?

A word of caution to those of you who will be receiving your plasma cutters soon who paid via Paypal - check to make certain that your primary shipping address that appears on your account is correct. I recently moved, and just checked my Paypal account this morning to realize that it showed my old address in Massachusetts as my primary address. I changed it and emailed Sean to make sure he has my current address in New York. The last thing that I need is to have my cutter shipped to another state! If you moved since you opened your Paypal account you might want to check the address you have listed to make sure that it is current.

Thanks for the 'supplemental' info Sean.

Curious why the black & white wires, I assume trigger wires, use 2 seperate & different styles of connectors-odd. Or why since its a 2 pin plug that both weren't connected thru the screw on? Thats getting changed. Looks like a trip to the Shack might be in the works.

Good idea with the gland nut on plug.

The black cable and two-pin plug is the low-voltage trigger connection, and has two wires in it. The white wire is the pilot arc connection. No change needed.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I have been watching this thread and the original one since the start. I am very glad to see this massive group buy across the ocean come to fruition. Great job Aquamoose, you do this forum proud!

Zion,

The second shipping batch was created but it won't be picked up until Monday. Want me to set it aside for you?

Thanks Fossy,

It's an experience which I'd be happy to share with others. There's definitely some room for improvement!

Sean, I appreciate the offer but the cutter is going to my office so there is always someone there during business hours.

I'm on the road so often and erratically that I tend to ship everything there so i don't have to worry about stuff sitting on my front porch..

My main concern is keeping the guys in the office from playing with it before I get back ;)

Thanks again for all your hard work and perseverance!

If I get out your way one of these days I will buy you a beer!

Sean,
The plasma cutter is being shipped to my old address. I sent you an email with the correct address on 6/7. Please let me know if you can change the delivery address.

Thanks

Hey Sean, I have sent you a recent email on June the 11th and haven't received a response. I know you're busy so no issues there, just wanted to let you know I haven't received any correspondence to date.

Thanks, Cam

Just an FYI, I did not receive any correspondence either and it doesnt bother me. This is a huge undertaking and appreciate the hard work put in on it. I got a tracking number the other day and I am patiently waiting its arrival. I am not trying to belittle anyones concerns, I too was getting a little nervous. I think it is just too hard to reply to everyone.

I never received the email blast but I sent an email to Sean with my receipt number etc. that I was good to receive the shipment as originally planned.
I have not received a tracking number (which I presume means I am still in the queue) and am sure it will be shipped when he has a free second (which I can't imagine is frequent).
I appreciate the tremendous amount of work he has put in and will be happy to have the cutter whenever it arrives.

Cutter was inside my back porch door when I got home from work today. You rock Sean, thank you so much for doing this!

Unfortunately I had to leave again as soon as I got home, so no playing with it yet

I have more questions than answers.
Got mine today, With all the extras ordered!!
Thanks Sean!!

While i didn't receive the the mass email nor response to my email with delivery info I knew he had to be swamped. I would rather he was busy sending out the cutters than sending emails. Besides he has a life and family as well. I know everone can't wait to get there hands on theirs , I know I was and have projects lined up for it. Relax IT's coming..

I did take mine apart to check everythiing that Sean mentioned and anything else I could see. Everything looks great, nothing big. Ran out of time but hopefully tomorrow I can try it out.

Is there a way to find out if your cutter has been shipped? I would like to be here when it arrives at my home.
You should recieve an email from UPS with expected shipping time and arrival date.
I was in the second group and got UPS note Friday. My cutter is supposed to arrive Thursday!
Dont know how many shipping groups these are being divided up into but should be shortly for those not yet notified.

Mine is here and in-hand. When I received the shipping notice, I contacted UPS to hold the box at the nearest depot, which is about 5 minutes from my house.

With all the rains recently and UPS driver's inability to read a simple sign that provides instructions on where to place boxes so they're not subject to theft and/or weather, I wasn't taking any chances.

Sadly, I've not had time to open the box...

Moose - the taped seam on the bottom of the box was split in the middle and where one flap joins the side.

I'm assuming that's where the consumables were placed - when I peaked inside, I saw a package of tips or something.

Don't think anything was lost, but I'd suggest double-taping that seam if that's where you're accessing the box for consumables placement.

Otherwise, the box was intact - no apparent damage from the outside.

I'll get it cracked open on Thursday.

Thanks again for all your hard work on our behalf!

Mine got delivered about 11:00 am today. By noon I was cutting material, not well ( I'm sure due to user and technique) but cutting none the less. Started with some 3/16" plate, cut alright but a lot of dross.

Thank you again to Aquamoose for all your hard work in this undertaking.
