Ok, I've had my Crapsman roll around for MANY years. It was bought when I was probably 18-19yo and back when roller bearing drawers were only on the Cadillacs of tool boxes. So mine has the old grooved silders. After building my bathroom vanity and buying a few set of nice roller bearing slides for the drawers, I want to replace the crappy ones on my roll around. I'm sure some of you have done this mod. Any hick-up's you would like to enlighten me on? I see it as pretty cut and dray so long as the new sliders are the same thickness or slightly less than what is on the drawers now. My cabinet is a permanent fixture now days holding specialty tools.
