I have a toilet in my garage bathroom. I love it. The bathroom in the garage was the number one & number TWO reason I wanted to buy the house. (pun intended)

I have been dirty from working on the car or just mowing the lawn and felt the urge. It is great to not tramp dirt into the house. My garage bathroom is MY room so the toilet seat STAYS up except when in use. I keep a box of matches on the back of the tank.

The bathroom is connected to the house central heat & air so it stays comfortable all year.

I see a post here that said they have 2 story, put shower commode and sink up stairs and a urinal and laundry tub down. I always wash before I walk out the door. I can do without a shower in the shop and one reason is hot water and the laundry tub. I actually have 2 in the shop but I buy paper towels by the case, I don't got to roll in grease and don't wipe my hands on cloths.

Why create so much work for yourself? Piss out the door, **** in the house.

+1.

My wife wanted a toilet and sink in the shop. I didn't want to mess with plumbing, leaking lines, etc.

I decided against it and it has been two years and no regrets. Also gave me more SHOP space.

Around here do to unpredictable weather a good size Shop/Building is going to get drafted into use for Parties (Graduations/Anniversaries/Harvest Celebrations/). So put in the Slop sink and a toilet. Keeps the foot traffic out of the house! Which in turn keeps all the people in the same general area so that you can keep an eye on them!

The toilet would win. A toilet deals with **** all day whereas a urinal just takes the piss. So yeah, in a fight the toilet would win.......................

What?

Oh, that's not what you meant? My bad!

So, here's my introduction to GJ: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=235724

Basically says I found this place looking for porta-potty urinals. They are very simple, mount to a wall with a drain on the bottom. But, I can't find one, anywhere! There are some great ideas in these toilet threads but I'm still thinking this is the route I want to take, if I can buy one, or two.

Found this which may meet my needs: http://www.amazon.com/Do-All-Outdoors-Port-A-P-Blind-Urinal/dp/B002HHTIXO

full toilet anytime , fit a saniflo on it and pump it to the tank up one and a quarter inch pipe ,also sitting down while peeing is supposed to reduce the risk of prostate cancer

Urinals are just nasty.

They are great in a public situation for an architect who wants to save space but as a concept they are horrible.

They are even worse when its an hour or more after they have been cleaned with other peoples piss, ***** etc all over the place.

How many people do you think will be ******* in his garage over the course of an hour?
