Yeah, Bolster had them in his tool popularity poll a while back. He was surprised they didn't score higher than they did because HE thought they are pretty good quality for being made in Mexico.

I had heard they were the Mexican version of Stanley/PROTO. Owned and operated by the same.
Not bad looking tools, we received a set of wrenches on a job site, and didn't break any. Broke a few Williams though....
I WILL say this!!!
That is one hell of a good looking store! Wish we had a store with that many automotive type tools in THIS town!

I can tell you that all of our shop owned impact sockets are Urrea and they get abused, but no one has been able to break one or wear one out yet. I too agree, I wish there was a store like that within 100 miles of me, a good name would be "The Tool **** shop"

Urrea is pretty decent stuff. MSC Industrial sells quite a bit, if not their whole line.

Bonito tienda, mio aqui es menos limpia pero mas grande. Tambien nos le gusto Urrea mucho pero cuesta mucho mas que otro fabricantes.

(Espanol es mi segundo lingua, espero que esto es bueno.)

Bienvenido ,ah no existe fabrica de herramientas en Peru ,solo son distribuidores.Urrea es hecho en Mexico,la calidad es muy buena,en el taller de camiones utilizamos y no tenemos problemas,y no son caras ($) .
En Peru existen tiendas de Snap On,Proto,Wright,Armstrong,Williams,Facom,Sata,Urrea,Surtek.para todos los gustos y $$$

Yo uso un poco de todo pero mas barata cosas asiaticas.
Urrea y Surtek son lo mas forte con Truper y Knova despues. No mucho nuevo N. Americano se vende aqui. Mucho usada si. De todo nombres.
Mi favorito es Wurth pero muy costoso. Yo tengo dos maltracas y dos juegos de llaves. No puedo compra mucho de ellos.

I have never saw a store with such a large tool section.
Plenty of large stores, but filled with mostly non-tool fluff. Walmart, sears, northern, HF, Lowes, etc. Very small section of actual tools.

I have a set of Urrea metric combination wrenches, and they're not bad. Fit and finish are great, and I haven't had any issues with the set. Picked them up a few years back at a local pawn shop for cheap, still have the tool wrap somewhere.
Looks like Home Depot carries 'em. At least online...

The store might not have any bikinis, but they do have a bimbo. Look at the one on the far right in the pic.

LOL don't think that bimbo will get many more customers in the store!
A few months ago, I bought a few sets from HD when they had them on sale. They were in no way the quality of the Urrea tools that I had used years ago. The fit and finish was poor and the wrenches felt weak. I actually took the 1/4 combo wrench and was able to bend it with my hands. Not sure if HD is selling factory seconds or what but I was disappointed.
