Just picked up a bag o husky. All the sockets say made in USA, the ratchet doesn't. All the tools part numbers start with 22 so I think it's from the same kit. The questions are is a husky 2202 ratchet American made, and who produced them for husky?
Sorry should have posted pucture
At one time Husky was Wright if I am correct
At that time, Husky was made by Stanley.Years ago (1997-1998) I bought a us made husky socket set. It had 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive ratchets and sockets in both standard and metric. I think it was about $48. The ratchets were ok, I thought the sockets were nice. I still have all, but a couple sockets. It's the ratchet and socket part of my marine/travel tools set. I have fixed and rebuilt hundreds of things with them. None of them have let me down, I wish they still had these tools.
I believe the correct part number for the USA version was 22202.
One on EBay right now for $32.99 with free shipping.
way back, Husky was manufactured by The New Britain Tool Company.
I have an old US-made #CS-45 1/2" drive Husky ratchet that has held up surprisingly well for many years.

A few years ago I saw some made in USA Husky ratchets on the shelf at Home Depot but they were the same as the teardrop quick release Armstrong A-Line or Allen ratchets. They also had the cheaper offshore ratchets also. They might have sold cheaper USA ratchets a long time ago.
