This evening my brother in law informed me that he plans to put up a shop for his trucking business in the next year. Kicker of it is he has a 30' x 40' pole building in the location currently. He informed me that when the time comes I can have it if I take it down.
Simple pole building with barn doors on end and a garage door in the one corner. Not really what I want but I can hardly turn down the deal.
Any concerns I should look out for?
Metal is in good shape.
Nailed on, which would be a pain.
"Lighted" roof panels would need to be replaced.
Could I reuse the 4x6 and use concrete anchor plates. (just cut them flush with existing concrete)
Everything would be mine, excluding the concrete.
Next time I am over to his place I will takea few pictures.
