merry chrismas vieux, as always nice work you do. i love the small bulb as a replacement for the ugly resistor. i assume it is the same resistance, but how did you figure out the resistance of the bulb?

Looks like a small nuclear bomb.
Like something from Fallout. Very cool!
Thanks!Merry Christmas!

Thanks!
Again funny little repair!
This time cheap Chinese mops. You can go and buy a new one, but it will be the same quality and will break immediately. Therefore was made the eternal version of the mops. Some aluminum, a couple of screws and all the kits ready and will last a long time. I hope so...

Vieux, you never cease to amaze us with your talents and what you can do...

Merry Christmas! I am not sure how much emphasis is placed on this holiday in your country until recently. I know the big holiday is Father Winter?
It's always good to see you design something that works with the parts you have on hand.
Excellent fix, as always.
Thank you! My little garage is making me do this.Fantastic work as always! I love how you manage to do the coolest stuff in that space!

Hey that is a Volkswagen heater from 1970's I recognize it! Well done sir......Vieux: i love your garage and project pictures, but you certainly wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit posting more pictures of your beautiful city and critters you see on a daily or once in a while basis. a lot of us may never see your part of the world so would love a guided tour from a fellow member if you have time.
HAPPY NEW YEAR and another year almost in the books and a better one to look forward too.
cheers (ice tea for this old guy, but i might tip a few your direction when midnight comes tomorrow night)
Vieux: a lot of us think everything is bombed out or countryside from a lot of the news we see on TV so very happy to see it's sort of normal except for the snow.
congrats on the calendar and as i mentioned before you have SKILLS.
WELL DONE SIR!!

Thank you! Happy New Year!Great posts as always Vieux, thanks for sharing.
Cheers GB.
Vieux: if you don't have any garage related posts with your camera and posting ability i'd love to keep seeing more pictures of whatever you have time to take and post. of course you know there are a few boundaries we never cross to keep GJ a great source for us all.
also with your skills have you ever thought about attaching a stool/chair to a platform with 6 casters on it? if you might have some ideas feel free to post a few thoughts over on my new thread where i'm trying to design and make something for my daughter for her wedding if you have time to.
thanks again for the pictures!!
Congratulations on the calender photos. Will you share each
Photo during the month on the calendar with us?
As a firefighter, I'm always interested to see other fire trucks.
Vieux, just beautiful thank you for sharing...
Have a great new year..
Regards
Your company name, is it Gazprom in English?
Great to have your photos used in your company calendar, but in a calendar of a giant company like Gazprom is WOW!
My time in Moscow was on the Baydaratskaya Bay Crossing Project, four 48" pipelines from Yamal to the gas networks for Moscow and export. Gazprom is a giant of the industry.
Beautiful pictures, Vladimir. I don't think your company(Gazprom?) could have gotten a better photographer for their calendar. Congratulations to you!
I hope you have an enjoyable weekend and a very Happy New Year. I'll be waiting for all the eye candy you bring to The Garage Journal in 2017!
Those are some incredible pictures, very beautiful.
Great job with the photo's Professor, You have a good eye for photography! If we didn't live so far apart I would love to drop in for a couple of drinks![]()
