Without the complete story its impossible to say who is in the wrong. Was it used right or was it faulty?
^ quoted for truth.
WE weren't there. We don't know the details.
The language used in the article does not make clear at all what actually occurred. And is that a "Jack Stand" or a "Pipe Stand"?
Doesn't look like any "Jack Stand" I ever sold or used.
The binder.... as I said, I find it difficult to believe that a 49-year-old owner of a trucking company doesn't know how to use one.
The chain broke.
When was the last time you broke a chain?
Aside from all that, if you watch a few of the "Den of Tools" videos, and do a bit of digging, you will find that this company:
- has repeatedly changed the name and address of the company
- been the defendant in multiple copyright, trademark, and patent infringement suits - and it looks like they're losing all of them (although I'm only got to about page 5 of the Google search results and got distracted with something else.)
- has had several of their products recalled by the Consumer Products Safety Commission (like BABY GATES)
- had at least three tool items banned in the UK because they are "unsafe"
- repeatedly games the system on Amazon by listing items, then removing the listing when the item gets negative reviews, then re-listing it until it gets positive reviews.
I'm just digging around so I can try to figure out WHICH name and WHICH address to enter into the
list. I stopped about an hour ago so I could eat and
then got distracted with something else so this is all I have thus far:
