Vidmar cabinets

I don't know how the keys work on the Vidmar cabinets but I have a key that anyone is welcome to. I don't know where I got it from as I don't have any idmars. I know that one Kennedy key will work on many boxes as they are keyed the same. The number on the Vidmar key is A 16 / 1219. If you have a Vidmar cabinet and the number matches your key, send me a PM and I'll send it to you. The keys aren't one that can be cut at any key shop.

FWIW, the Vidmar keys go from A1-130 or so. I just pulled the lock on mine last week, got the code, and ordered a couple keys from Stanley for ~$7 each. Here's the PDF on how to do it. All you need is any small key or a small screwdriver. If anyone has problems PM me and I'll try to help. Took me a while to figure out how it works but of course once I did it was easy.

Kevin, I found an engraved number on the cylinder but it doesn't match the number style you posted. It looked hand-engraved though and not factory stamped. Let me see if I can pop the lock out and get a better look. That PDF above should help!

Ah! I didn't write it down because was convinced I would remember it. Bad idea. I seem to recall the number being something like E-A5 though, which doesn't mesh with what people wrote above (the E part, I mean).
