my buddy has a machine shop in what's left of the former Cooper Bessemer reciprocating engine foundry here in western PA. must have 20 of these things. he let me pick the nicest one in exchange for some woodworking in a house he's remodeling. in other words it was FREE. thing is HUGE, 60" tall 30" wide and 27" deep. I plan on restoring it, painting or powdercoating it black and replacing all the dividers. it will be used to store nuts and bolts, farm equipment parts and supplies.
I understand I might ****. I'm ok with that.

Is it rusted on the inside or something? Unless you just want a color change, I'm not sure if I would waste my time painting it. Painting boxes is a real time consuming task, but that is just my 2¢
