I got the rebuild kit however one piece inside the pump that i could not disassemble,,,or dont know how…finding another pump would be a option. Spent hours tying to disassemble…even had a millwright friend lending a hand but no luck. I will post a pic of the part and see if anyone has ever removed it,,last night i had a flashback or something. Could it be left hand thread,,not sure if i tried that=
I would really like to get the BlackHawk operable….

I just reviewed this thread and just love looking at all the old jacks. I failed to post my last jack restoration so I'll put it up tonight.
I started with this rusty old elite #85 mechanical curb jack
After a day in the electrolysis tank I was able to disassemble the jack
Next step was a trip through the sand blast cabinet
The castings were a bit rough so a lot of grinding and shaping was required before reassembling the jack to decide which parts would get polished and which would get painted.
The decision was made and the parts were polished or painted and ready for reassembling
The jack turned out pretty nice after a little pinstriping and letter detailing so the jack is now on display in the big party garage

Probably should find someone who can 3d print rubber and has a Cnc machine, make friends and see if they want to help you restore your jack.WOW!
My old vintage Walker jack is one of the models pictured! I think its a 4 ton. My Dad gave it to me 20 years ago. He bought it surplus when the high school auto shop he taught at closed down. We believe it to be from the late 40s. It drips and I have to add oil every now and then. The local repair shop told Dad that the seals and parts to fix it were NLA many years ago. You guys know of a source for parts now? Love to make it right....
i have this old jack its about 31 inches long very heavy duty.has a solid square saddle about 5-6 inches Sq. only marking are on the swivel wheel caster holders stamped H628 also on the top of the handle is a aluminum knob that you twist to release the jack to lower.and on the fill plug is a metal screw plug stamped FILL..i. post some pics i cleaned it up and scrapoed all the rust off..its still works

can anyone i.d this jack it very heavy duty type of jack but i dont know make or model bought it like 30years ago from a shop that was closing up the guy said he thinks it was a sears robuck jack but he really didnt know.i dont think its a sears jack,i think its a blackhawk but not sure

Do not think I ever posted a pic of my Walker 782 completely assembled.
I works and I do use it occasionally as needed, but still leaks a little. Not enough to tear it all apart again to get to the pump.

Bought these 4 at a VW shop Auction. Prices were too good to let go. I am a VW guy and out of all the VW parts and tools I bought these jacks make me happy.

Big boy at the back is a Walker J612 2 Ton air/hydraulic.
Shorter one on the bottom is another Walker 782 series D I think... my other one pictured above is a series B, again, I think... the D also has the cast iron cover plate.
The 2 shorter ones were too dirty to initially determine a maker. My initial guess was Hein-Werner. One does have a badge, AJAX. But Ajax sold a bunch of brands under their badge.
I still do believe they are Hein-Werner. Smallest One is 1 1/4 ton, other unmarked and too dirty to get info for now. Both of the smaller one look identical to the vid I linked a couple posts back. Same design at the rear wheel handle area with ribbed cover plates.
Will get all 4 cleaned up and functional as I can. Might restore them all if time and funds allow.
I was under $70 total for all 4.

All it need was a good cleaning, greased and oiled up. Also tightened up all the packing.
