Found these at an estate sale recently. Sturdy frames made in Germany, probably intended for a dentist's practice. Center knurled knob adjusts the width of the lenses. I thought they would be great for detail work. They were immediately claimed by SWMBO for her sewing...

That's what I use the Telesights (post #62) for. I have an X-Acto contraption, but it's a little tipsy. Nice find. I guess you'll have to "borrow" them when she's not looking.

It's how I plan to answer the door for Halloween. With ********* boots and black elbow and knee pads, it looks robot-like.

Here's those Ben Franklin's I just picked up..., @LesserSon style. I like the way they are extended out in front. It just takes a minute angle of your head one way or another to see normal view, for perspective, and then back, to zoom in on the workpiece.
