I'd restore it to like new condition. Garage items are different than antique furniture. Just look at the price of gas pumps unrestored vs. restored. Your looking at a few hundred vs. a few thousand for a restored pump.
I'd restore that Lube Station to like new condition, then use it. Look at the restorations that Don Long has done on his Alemite Station and the work that BB767 has done on, well..... practically everything.
Show that Lube Station the new life it deserves and forget the damn "patina". In like new condition with all of the grease guns with it, especially if they are original to it, once restored it will be worth a few thousand dollars. Look at what ECO Air Stations are worth once restored.
I rest my case, and let the pics speak for themselves. Just ask Tom and Don what they would do with it if they had it. I'm fairly certain it would most likely look BETTER than new!!!!
