No details? Sure looks like it is something a SO collector would go bananas for.

Ok....now lets be objective and discuss any similarities/differences between this and other known SO boxes, other than the badges that is.

This box would probably date to the late 50s, reason is in the 60s cats, the boxes with receptacles were shown with grounds, and the 50s cats are shown with no grounds. The emblems would fit the late 50s. The color looks right, the heavy weight metal looks right. The overall look, says Snap on. The drawers no not look right, the handles are different, there are no slides on the drawers.
If it is late 50s there would probably be a mfg stamp on it some place

Honestly it doesn't look like snap on to me.... Maybe it is, but I doubt it. I see handles on the doors similar to the k200 roll around, but look bulkier. The drawer pulls don't look like snap on. I'm having a hard time placing this.

what is the asking price on this thing?

Take a look at the hinges. Snap on was using full length piano type hinges at this time.

The box is NOT presently for sale but for sure I will post it here first IF that happens. My gut feeling after checking it out a couple times was that it wasn't
Snap On. The drawer pulls are just angle and same with the drawer slides. That being said they will still outlast any of us... Door hinges look like , well 'door hinges' although the left side door has 4 and I believe the rest have 2.
And the mystery continues...
