Here is an older Wright 6440 3/4” “Bull Bar” as they call it. Like a sliding t bar, but with a knurled handle, and set screw to lock in place.
Great find. Do we have a list going of the various brands wright supplied?
Spotted this on eBay, had to have it. NOS Western Forge 1/4 ratchet made by Wright. I'll get better pics when it arrives.

yes that is a good list. I have billings and crescent as well. When Kmart had usa stuff i think it looked like wright.
Speed master/power kraft, Fairmount, Martin, Billings, Gray, WF, Xcelite. That's all i can think of at the moment, I'm sure there are more.
Very nice. I was contemplating picking up some things from the seller. Strange how all that WF stuff turned up.
If you're talking ratchets, I had a list on another site, but it's in my head anyway, lol.
Kmart tools were Japanese but looked like a knockoff of Wright. That Japan maker supplied a ton of brands with basically those same cheap socket sets.
You guys have named most. It gets tricky because some brands were strictly 3/4" or 1" drive. Others that come to mind are:
Ridgid, OTC, International Harvester, Matco, Mac, Allen. There are more.

Ridgid 3/8 dr.. Doesn’t look super old. I’ll never forget how I found it though, as the replacement rat in one of those cheapo no name socket kits.
Indeed. Like on these pieces, for example...The lettering on the plomb stuff is slanted, the wright stuff is straight.

Wow, a red Tootsie roll! Anyone have any guesses on the age of that one?
Thanks. This thread prompted me to dig it out and get cracking on the missing pieces! Now that set was a heck of a find.
That is AMAZING. I have never seen nor heard of that contract production. I know the larger RHFTs were part of a soil pipe cutting tool. I wonder if this is the same way or if they made socket sets.Ridgid 3/8 dr.. Doesn’t look super old. What are you missing. I can check my speed master tub.Thanks. This thread prompted me to dig it out and get cracking on the missing pieces!
Thanks. I posted a WANTED thread in the Classifieds, linked here. What are you missing. I can check my speed master tub.

Nice Wards Franky ratchet!Took a bunch of photos the other day. Been on a Wright kick lately, so couldn’t exclude these.
Partial Xcelite set (the handle is Xcelite) and more 1/4 drive rats by Wright to go with Dave’s above.
Wardmastr,Xcelite,Fairmount,Wright,Powr-Kraft. Forgot to get the part numbers on the reverse side.

I like the wright stuff as well. They are still in business and still made in usa!
