That last one is a Wilton C3 (I think). I'd get that in an instant if it's only a little more, they're worth quite a bit more than that.

First one is not a tradesman, it is of their mechanics line, pressed steel slide. I go for the second one as long as it doesn't have any major problems.

The second Wilton all day long.

Take a look at the jaws before you buy though. Something about them looks fishy to me in the photos. See if they are home made and/or poorly welded on the vise.

It's definitely a C3, it 's the only C series where the jaws bolt on from the back of the jaws using those little pockets. Get it!

1st is older US made mechanic, worth $50 all day long. that model is now chinese.


2nd one, is that dynamic jaw welded on crooked or something? look at the pipe jaws...
