I'm just curious if this thing would be worth a second look. It was next to the Reed I just nabbed from a flea market. It has no markings other than "100" on the side, so i'm assuming it is Chinese, but strangly seems built quite well. Any ideas?

My guess is European. Chinese commonly have "inch" like a big 4 or 6 plastered on the side, or even no size. When you see a size in mm (100 mm for 4"), most likely Euro model. Also the shape, less squared ends, more angular, reminiscent of Euro models.

Not a sure thing, but I would put my money on Euro before Chinese.

XJ: it might be a Bison FPU vise, but not sure. it's a Polish made vise if it is and here's one of my 3 inch ones that the static jaw moves backwards which i like and Bison vises are almost similar quality to some of the good old US made ones.

100 stands for a 4 inch wide jaw, 125 is 5 and 150 is a 6 incher.

Those are soo cool! Man you have alot of vises haha. Also, wouldn't be considered the Dynamic jaw then? And the static jaw being the one closest to you? Just curious. I can't tell if I would love that or hate it to use.
