KMS, I think that is a Parkinson Handy vise, made in England. Model G. It has an 0A model listed.

I actually just ran across a photo of a Parkinson Handy 0A in Vises of GJ from 2017 from Dutchgray of Dorset, England.
Thanks Dave
I'll fix what I did earlier. I should back check some of these claims. Kevin

Stephens Jewlers vise, swivel releases from under the bench. No model number and missing some spec:s. Anyone have a catalog page on this 1-7/8 vise.

From the owner.

Here’s one of my newer smalls that Evan picked up for me. It’s a 1-7/8” jaw stephens quick release. It’s a through the bench mount swivel base as well so I’m going to figure out some kind of stand or display for it. I’ve never had one of these so I didn’t realize how small it was. It has a spring pushing the jaws out a bit so you can get your work into it easier. It also has a spring pushing it back in so it has tension on the piece while you clamp it. The handle has been repaired at some point and someone did a great job. It’s a very cool vise and I’m glad to add it to the smalls collection.

KMS, the smallest I see for the Stephens is 2 inch, although your photos don't look like somebody filed them down or anything. Couple of catalog options. Assuming a 2 inch jaw width, it could be a No 115 from the 1909 catalog. Or a 21 or a 15 from the 1890 catalogs below. Not sure if that helps.....

That 1/8" discrepancy is seen on some of the early Bonney vises.
2" advertised vs. 1 7/8" actual.
First I thought overzealous polishing, till it was pointed out
that would be alot of polishing.
Then I thought maybe steel in a iron mold.
Now seeing that the Stephens patent vise Co. and Bonney advertisements
make the same error (?). I'm thinking to myself that's just where the jaws squared at
after finishing.
Hopeing you find an answer.

Swivel vise marked "350" on right side of static jaw, "Made in Canada" on left side. Owner says there are no other marks, doesn't know origin. Gives jaw width as 3-1/2", opening 4-3/4". Weight unknown.
Looks newer than most made in Canada vises, and unlike the most common, Rae and Henry. My best guess is Gray Tools, which I've read did sell Canadian made vises for a time.
[Most likely a Henry-made vise from the Bulldog line. See Dave600's responses below]
[Confirmed that there is a Henry Bull Dog vise numbered "350". Normally "BULLDOG" appears above the model number, not sure why it doesn't on some. Edit Aug 2025]

My bet is that it is a Henry vise. Henry vises have a lot of mass behind the fixed jaw and the curve at the back of the fixed tower (yours has both of these things). Henry vises have a couple of ridges on the bottom of the vise. Here is a picture of a Henry 2 bottom....

Could be! It has more of a lip where the static jaw covers the slide, though not as pronounced as the upturned bit on a Rae. Also the dynamic jaw doesn't round off towards the handle as smoothly, it's relatively abrupt and kind of snub-nosed. Wish I could look at the base but it's in another province. Too bad there aren't more old catalogues around from the Canadian manufacturers and the companies who rebranded their output.

Here is a Henry 2. 3.5 inch wide jaws like your 350. Pretty similar.

I'll have the owner recheck the width. You know guys measure with a tape measure instead of a set of calipers or a machinist scale, easy to assume the jaws are narrower then they are.

Added the different Stephens model numbers to the spreadsheet that are Nickel plated and the black models . Thanks for your help.

On the Canadian vise (Henry) guys let me know what your final thoughts are before I add it to the spreadsheet. The 350 model number kind of tells me that it may not be a Henry vise.

I have seen Henry's labeled as Henry 1 to Henry 6. Jaw widths are like Records. 1 = 3inch, 2 = 3.5, 3 = 4, 4 = 4.5 inch, 5 = 5 inch, 6 = 6 inch. The swivelled versions have the name "Bulldog" on the brass wrench for the swivel. I have seen Henry's labelled 35 to 60, with the Henry name marked on it (35 = 3.5 inch). I have seen some labelled Bulldog with sizes marked 300 to 500, but no Henry or Craftools marked on it. I have also seen vises just with 300 to 500 with no Bulldog, Henry or Craftools marked on them. All of them say Made in Canada. But they all have the same body shape. I have seen other "Made in Canada" vises that look like Henry but have other names like "Tecomaster" which was a brand name from the Eatons dept store. (Not a label, but part of the casting.)

Dave, to clarify, are the Bulldog vises marked in the casting, or do they use a decal?

"Bulldog" was part of the casting. Here is an example. It is a Bulldog 500, 5 inch jaw width. Same shape as a Henry 5. I also included a Henry 5 for comparison.

I splurged at HF one day, 47.8 mm.
Only other thing odd about the vise, the veneering is wearing on the back jaw.

Here's an odd one from an auction last year in Orillia, ON (home of Rae during the latter years).
Info from listing:
Markings include TWIN TOOL MFG. CO., NICKEL CHROME, and MADE IN CANADA . Has numerals 1, 2, and 3 on different parts/sections.
Jaw width is 4 1/4".

Overall measurements (not including handle): 16.5" L x 7" W x 7.5" H

That looks like a solid little guy, Shiftless (y)

There's a spreadsheet entry for the Cheney 40 Anvil Vise, but no pictures. Here's one currently on offer in Ontario.

For the spreadsheet.
According to the seller:
"Parkinson's "Handy" No 2 vise - with a unique swivel (never seen another Parkinson's with this swivel) It has 3-1/2 wide jaws; opens to 5-1/2 inch and has a 2-1/2 throat. The swivel works 360 degrees..."

Parkinson 1940 catalog on the swivel. Handy vises with jaws of 4 inches and higher can use the normal bench mount swivel.

I've had this vise for at least 30 years. I can't even remember where I got it. Since I've been following this thread, it got me curious about what model Wilton it is. Not finding it on the Vise Info Spreadsheet. It looks like to me the model is 1 UX and the manufacture date is 12/10/72. Any help or direction is always appreciated.....
