Three years ago I had a project where we needed to replace 2200 slider lock assemblies for a jail. I watched our field crew manhandling all these doors that weigh anywhere from 300 to 500lbs and decided to come up with something to make everyone's life a bit easier. So long story short what you see here is V3 (V3 allows for pivoting a swing door so you can egress it thru its own opening whereas the previous versions just laid them back flat). This allows one man to grab a door (self-center acme screw clamp actuated assembly) whether it be a slider or swing and do anything and everything possible with no real effort. These things reduced my labor burden down to a quarter on the dollar and increased my safety margin by 95%.
