5 years later? Sure, great time to get back on this project. It's been moved 3 times since, and the pile of parts is perpetually in my way. I have a big project up coming and I'd like to use rather than trip over it.

Doors were wire wheeled, sanded, painted, sanded again (bubbles) and painted again. Door tag is still here, just need to get another drive screw to mount it first.

Upper guide was taken apart and cleaned up, then repainted.

I started on the table tilt mechanism. All the Zamak parts are cleaned up and painted outside the ways, but the screw tilt mechanism was very stiff and weathered.

Tore it all apart cleaned everything up, oil the screw, polished the shaft, thrust bushings were still in good shape. Set a smooth but tight end play with the double nut arrangement.

Gearbox and table are the big pieces left.

Hi there! Glad to see an update on the saw! I have the same one and am in the midst of getting it up and running. Have you made any more progress since your last post?

Sadly, no, it's sitting in the garage in the same almost finished state. Gear box is the next item to refurb and I just haven't gotten back to it.

Great restoration progress pictures! Thanks so much for documenting this. I'm doing the exact same restoration in almost the exact same order. However, when I opened my gear box, I found it was missing the Reduction Drive gear 94 T, reduction idler gear 94T, and the reduction idler 30 T :^(. Probably not the end of the world since I mostly will be using this for woodworking. But I would like to restore it completely. It sounds like this project might be stalled out, but I'm wondering if you can take some measurements or even some pictures so I can get some idea as to diameter and width so make some drawings with to have them made? Or if you have any leads as to drawings I could use? Any information would be much appreciated.
