Hi guys - 60" roll cab sitting with its "back to wall" - but need to space it 2.5-3" from the wall itself. What can I fill this gap with? Obvious answer is a wood ledger, but wondering if anyone has other ideas to consider. TIA

Get some strips of aluminum diamond plate & frame out the back of the box. If you don't want to put screws into the box epoxy some corner blocks to attach the diamond plate to.

Make a new top that 3" larger.

I have been meaning to get around to making one. A sheet of 3/4 plywood and a sheet of galvanized steel..I know a furnace guy that I could get the sheet meatal from and just contact cement them together.

Get a piece of 3" channel iron, weld on something to allow it to hook on the back of the toolbox with the U facing up, like how the side cabinets hang. Then you can use it for holding spray cans all in a neat row.

I kind of like this approach. Attached to the wall with added function.
