These Stanley toolboxes are $25 in some places. If they aren't marked down in your store yet, keep an eye on it, as Walmart employees are responsible for marking down items. Many places have it at $99 and $50. I was going to say that I'm sure this obviously not the highest quality, but I'll leave that for the comments below, lol.

I got one on a clearance markdown after Black Friday a few years ago that came with a socket set. They’re actually not too bad if you pay under $70 (I’d say $50 or under is fair without the socket set). The drawers are kinda shallow. I use it for fasteners as opposed to tools.

Went to one of my supercenters last weekend and got the GS-1 Channellock set for $19. Not the biggest discount, but still cheaper than anywhere else. Still had a large stock of channellocks and stanley pliers.

I think Keter makes some nice plastic products, and these tables are rated to hold up to 1000 lbs.

Keter Folding Worktable, adjustable resin work bench with clamps, black $17 to $49 (YMMV)

Even if it shows out of stock, you may want to check around the tool department.

Prices are crazy cheap at some stores. Yesterday, I picked up the last of what was available at my local store. Channellock USA for $5, Hyper Tough (Wilde USA) pry bar for $2.

It's not on sale but it is worth mentioning that they just added a 9 piece Made in USA screwdriver set. Nice to see more Made in USA. They look very similar to the old Craftsman USA. Retail is $12.48 for 9 pieces.

My local Walmart Neighborhood has the 14 oz cartridges of "General Purpose Grease" on clearance for $.75 a tube. Amber and Grey colors. My only problem is that SuperTech/Walmart doesn't say the rating of the grease other than NLGI 2. Probably OK for chassis but not bearings.

Picked up a Hyper Tough 8” pry bar on clearance for $3.50 today, they had one left. I also saw the USA made screwdrivers, I was thinking maybe GreatNeck makes them, as they look similar. I have a GreatNeck 3/8” slotted screwdriver that I use for prying, Adjustments.jpgView attachment 1scraping, and it’s held up excellent.

I want to say thanks to everyone here. I picked up some stuff and posted it in the New Tools thread:

Black and Decker won't be carried anymore according to one of the guys working in the tool department. These Vaughan hammers may go on clearance at some point since it looks like they are replacing them with a house brand. They are still full price at $23.97.

Thought this was a pretty good buy. They’re clearing out all the old shop vacs for the HART brand. I have a shop vac like this but the hose is 1-1/4” and it doesn’t work well for larger debris and the wheels on it ****.

Paid $40

The Made in USA Vaughan is $23.97, and the Chinesium replacement is $21.88. Is selling out American manufacturing really worth a measly 9% savings?

I picked up the Keter work table (Made in Israel like all Keter stuff I think) for $30, regular $75:

I went to a different Wal-Mart but most of the clearance tools were non-existent. I did get some Stanley hacksaw blades for $1.50 and some B&D impact bids for $1.00. They had paint and tiles on clearance and I picked up some carpet tiles to line the bottom of a steel cabinet. They also had Thompson's wood cleaner for $5 a jug. YMMV.

Thanks netbrad
Checked out the paint on clearance and found some Zinsser Cover Stain oil base primer for $5 per gallon. Normally $20 -they had just dropped the price yesterday.
Also picked up a 3.5g container of Kilz2 latex for $15 https://www.walmart.com/ip/KILZ-2-I...-Same-Trusted-Formula/295315869?selected=true
Lots of vinyl tile & Thompson sealer available -but didn't have anything I could use it on

Everything pretty much all gone at the various stores I checked. I did bite on a Stanley shop vac for $40 though.

Mine had those for $30!

Everything was marked to about 50% at mine 2 weeks ago so by now it is probably gone.

I was hoping the B&D drill accessory set that retailed around 30 marked down to 17 would get cheaper but never did.

Stanley 8 gallon shop vac down to $30 at my store. They still had 3 but I already have a larger Ridgid shop vac.

Needed some wiper fluid today.

They had a ton of the Super Tech "summer formula(32F)" out and then I noticed 1 winter formula container so I scanned it @ the price checker and it said $1.00.

Got that and was able to find one more container.

So keep it in mind if you are looking for stuff at Walmart.

Lawn and Garden ended here in NE Ohio a couple weeks ago. Not as many savings in the past, as I think they sold a lot more of their inventory due to people being home. This sprayer was the only Hypertough tool marked down at stores here, and it got horrible reviews. I grabbed one for $20 but have not had a chance to test it yet. https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/705526715

That was the only thing I was going to grab, and would want like 4 of them if I did, but still $35. Have the Ryobi equivalent, but I would like to dedicate each one to its own solution.

Picked up a Louisville Ladder Type II 20’ extension ladder yesterday for $75...was the lowest price in my area. Several stores around me had “limited stock” at $84, so this is definitely a YMMV.

The ladder itself is decent, but has resin rung locks. It’s fine for what I will use it for.

Hart impact gloves all sizes on sale for $7.00. My picture shows a hanging strip, but the shelf was loaded with all sizes and they all rang up $7.00

Also, my store had all Campbell Hausfeld air tools and accessories heavily clearanced. I got a die grinder for $5.60.
