I've had this wooden tool chest sitting in the back corner of the house's storage room for a friend for years now. There's a small amount of warping on the top cabinet but nothing serious, it has a shelf on the inside as well. The tool box is a combination of either solid walnut planks or thick walnut veneer. The inside of the drawers I believe are pine due to what seems to be a soft grain structure versus what I've seen with oak. It also has solid walnut mounts and supports to hang on a wall.
He decided he wanted didn't want it anymore and asked if I could help sell it for him. I already have enough storage for my things as well so I'm not really interested in keeping it myself despite it being a really awesome piece. So the question is, what should I put the asking price at? I don't really have anything to base it off of but was hoping someone here, of all people, would have encountered something like this and would have some info for me. I sort of have a price in mind but I would like to hear some other input. Much appreciated!
Dimensions are
Outside: 32 x 61 x 18 inches
Inside drawers: 29 x 16 inches
Their stack able so they can be rearranged.
