Anybody know who made the Wardmaster line of tools? I am picking up a tool box full (almost 100, plus a few ratchets, extentions, etc..) of these sockets today for $45!
New Britain?
I'll get the camera charged up. One of the ratchets is a 1/2" Penns Corporation. I just took it apart, cleaned and oiled it. It is a NICE ratchet. Patina'd, but no rust and it's really smooth. I really like it!
Nice score.
A close-up of the logo on those needle-nose will likely solve your mystery...
Those Champion DeArments sound like 1st Generation Channellocks. The Canadian patent should be from 1933; are you certain it says 1932?! They are mid-1950s at the latest, and may go right back the early 1930s.
I also got a BEAUTIFUL JH Williams S-52 "Superratchet" in the mail today. Really nice. Looking at all the ratchet **** here, you guys are really getting me hooked on the "Vintage" tools!![]()
