This is the model I installed last year. I purchased one of the coiled up hoses and keep it in the house by the deck. Just hook up as needed.

Can't beat warm water in the middle of the winter for cleaning the mud off the dog!

Why not just put in a laundry tub with a faucet and hot and cold with a porta pit that pumps it to the house? How cold will it get?

i don't really have a use for a sink in the garage, or maybe i do but i just don't know it yet :)

the garage is in massachusetts and i want the warm water for washing my car in the winter. i did it last weekend when it was about 42 degrees and that was about my threshold with cold water.

I too wanted to do this. My current car wash water feed is only cold water...and while I could likely run a new hot water line to the garage...I've resorted to filling my bucket with warm/hot water from the basement slop sink and just rinsing with cold.

I use a pressure washer connected to a deionizing system so I don't get spots when the car dries. I still pull in the garage to wipe down, etc.

I also got a pair of gloves that are used for hunting. They look like knitted gloves, but are water proof. They're a help, too. I think they were called Ottergloves.
