Ok folk's here's the deal. I bought 2 craftsman 30 gallon compressors on CL the other day I runs and the other doesn't. This is kind of where I'm stuck.
The one that runs has a good crank, rods, and piston's but had some water in it and there is light rust in the bore and around the piston's, nothing heavy though as the rings are still very free.
The other one looks to have been run out of oil as the rod's and crank are pretty tore up. there is no scoring in either bore and has VERY light rust at the top of the bore and around the ring's on the piston's.
Just wondering if there is a way I can get rid of the rust in the cylinder and around the piston's and make one good compressor motor out of the 2?
