Wayne Dalton Idrive parts question...

I have a 10 year old Wayne Dalton idrive garage door opener. The short wire that connects the moving arm 'thing' to the motor control board (3 pin connector) has deteriorated. I saw sparks fly on the last open and it's shot. It needs to be replaced, but I can't find where to buy the part. Any suggestions? I don't even know what it is called or what it does.

Also - how do you remove it from the arm? (The 3 pin part easily removes, but I can't remove the other side. I don't want to break it.

Wasn't there a bunch of unhappy folks over that idrive system? I seem to recall I steered away due to reviews or problems

Can you post pictures? Several views from sides? It was assembled,so it should come apart.

Image attached. The white wire is the one I need to replace.

I hate this system. Wasn't my choice, I let my builder talk me into it.

When they got bought out, the I-Drive was the only thing they didn't take because it was problematic.

OP, probably want to start looking at new openers. I highly doubt you're going to find any replacement parts.

I'm surprised the gears aren't stripped out by now.
