Weber dropped the MAP at the first of this month so technically anyone can offer this. Dealers who are participating are eating the discount out of their profits-no reimbursement from Weber. After free assembly and delivery there is basically no money made. If Lowes is allowing an additional 10% to stack they're violating the MAP agreement and are actually taking a loss on every sale.
Its a good deal on a Grill line that is basically never discounted. Purpose for the discount is to dump stock as they redesigned the Genesis for 2017.
Spend the extra and get the stainless model. Mine is over 5 years old and still looks like new.
Take the battery out of the igniter for the winter so that it does not mess up the contacts !
EP is worth the upgrade, SP is a cosmetic choice.
