From what I have seen Weber Genesis grills almost never go on sale.

Ace has a deal for $100 off right now. Bought myself an EP-330 Nat Gas.

I bought a Genesis about a year ago. It is a really nice grill. Much better quality than I expected. Very even heat and gets very hot. I keep a cover on mine and it looks great one year later. I highly recommend this grill.

I've had our Genesis for about 15 years - just saying this last night to the wife, that thing owes us nothing! I've replaced the grill surface, heat shields and burner tubes ONCE in that time. We grill year round too. Thing works awesome still. And their customer service is great!

You're right, they almost never go on sale.

Great American company IMO.

Spend the extra and get the stainless model. Mine is over 5 years old and still looks like new.

Take the battery out of the igniter for the winter so that it does not mess up the contacts !

Weber dropped the MAP at the first of this month so technically anyone can offer this. Dealers who are participating are eating the discount out of their profits-no reimbursement from Weber. After free assembly and delivery there is basically no money made. If Lowes is allowing an additional 10% to stack they're violating the MAP agreement and are actually taking a loss on every sale.

Its a good deal on a Grill line that is basically never discounted. Purpose for the discount is to dump stock as they redesigned the Genesis for 2017.

EP is worth the upgrade, SP is a cosmetic choice.

E series have stainless shelves and trim on the front. Interiors are porcelain coated steel and will eventually chip/rust.
EP series come in colors, have stainless shelves and trim on the front. Interiors are stainless.
SP series have stainless shelves and trim on the front. Interiors are stainless as well as the grill lid and door faces.
