FGI: thanks for all the information on the dishwashers. my wife wants me to remodel our kitchen again if we are still here in 2018 so i'm getting ideas already and your dishwashers sound like something i (we) should have especially now that we don't have any of the 5 kids and all their friends eating here as often.
just googled the brand of dishwasher you posted and here's a link for those of you that might like to check it out too. https://www.fisherpaykel.com/cn/kitchen/dishwashing/
thanks for not only taking lots of pictures and showing how to do a job correctly, but for also telling a great story with life mixing in there too.
i know you are probably still not caught up to current and maybe your other house is gone, but you keep telling your story and i for one will just keep checking in on you.
cheers and hope you are enjoying your weather in the desert while i have 40's and rain up here in PARADISE (PNW).

She called our favorite plumbers that did the re-pipe and had them come out for a look see. I was totally surprised that they said they could do it. Our septic, I find out, is pretty deep in the ground. She had them get started as soon as they could which was the following week.
