I vote you keep posting. And thank you for keeping us up to date.

Grizz doing what Grizz does.
Thanks for taking the time to keep us updated with our GJ bros.

Thanks guys.

I did ask him earlier and this was his response.

I think he is happy that you all get to see his world, despite it being through my lens.

He has been out today getting building materials but like in many places, the whole Corona virus thing has slowed life down.

Not impressed

Stas loves cooking, especially BBQ or griddled foods.

Spicy pork steaks.

Grizz and Stas are good buddies.

We chat most days on Whatsapp. Often late at night over a beer after a long day for Stas.

I think he is just real busy running his business and a young family.

I am happy to stop posting random pics and updates from him if it’s bothering you.

Rian keep doing it. This is a good idea!!!

Absolutely not, keep posting, I was only hoping that there was nothing wrong on his end preventing him from posting.

Still at it, making a life, spending money and keeping busy.

Stas, Vladimir and I chat most days.

Vurrently, Katy is preparing a load of fruit and vegetable preserves for winter.

Despite living in modern times, and in the city, old habits never die.

Pickles.

One of the summer jobs has been to sort out and resell the garage roof.

Food is the international language. Pork Chops on the grill and canned summer vegetables!

Is that a poured concrete roof on the last group of photos? Is the installation process any different than a plywood roof?

Scrap all of the old off, apply roofing tar, roofing membrane and then rolled roofing materials?

fantastic thread. Keep it coming. Some of those recent pics could be mistaken for 1978.

So is the driving in all of Russia as bad as the 'Russian Dash Cam' vids on youtube portray it to be? Head on collisions at 100 kph, wheels coming off dump trucks at full speed and obliterating cars, t bone crashes at high speed, 18 wheelers double wide on a 2 lane road, and more.

My wife was born in Tommot, Yakutsk.

She often complains that it's cold here In Northern Alberta, Canada. I ask her how she ever survived in Siberia, if she thinks it is cold here.

-24C is -11*F, just FYI.......and yes, it's cold - damn cold!

Here in Kansas it's unseasonably warm - Christmas day is forecast to be 60*F, we should be in the 30's at the most this time of year.

But I'm OK with it, I was able to get some paint work done.....

And just when you think you've seen cold... it hit -30C last night and felt like -45C with the windchill and is set to drop to -36C tonight. For those of you with rural backgrounds, the drop in temperatures must mean that calving season is just around the corner...

At least my shop is heated and warm. It was a nice +18C inside there on Saturday when the guys and I had a 6+ hour game of Axis and Allies. Sorry to the USA but I was overwhelmed by the Axis once Russia and England fell... I could not seem to get good dice rolls.
