Already identified... But, I have always heard them referred to as slugging wrenches.
The hole in the handle is to tie a length of softline so that one man can pull on the rope and keep tension on the wrench while the other man hits it with his sledgehammer.
This is exactly what I thought they were. They appear to be interchangeable heads for a large torque wrench.They may be heads for an interchangeable head torque wrench . If they are used slugging wrenches there should be some peening present from being struck.
