nothing today, at the fire station. Yesterday... Put a window regulator in my cousins chevy pickup, cleaned the carb. on my generator (even though i run it every month the neddle was stuck) cleaned the carb on my cousins 4 wheeler due to it leaking fuel. Turned out to be a hole in the fuel line that we could not see. Sighted in black powder rifles with my son's. Great day.

I'm working on my house to get it ready to sell. I'm looking at a house with 3.5 acres, over half of it woods. It has a 3 car attached garage and a 30x37 pole barn. Oh, the Mustangs I could build in there.
Current owner has 3 vintage GTO's in there, looked like 2 67's and a '68.

Hauled propane today at work over 4000 gallon on a bobtail. But last Monday I finnaly got the engine out of the 88 Ranger so now I can install the new freeze (expansion) plugs that were pushed out of the 2.9 three winters ago while I was sick in the hospital and then recuperating at home after being diagnoised as having "a fever of unknown origin" at Mayo in Rochester MN. OF coarse the one in between the transmission and the engine was pushed out so now I will get to install some of the four that were ejected by the 100 % water that I messed up and left in it of that cold spell. One each side of block one in right rear head and the one in the bell housing. Any suggestions of how to prep the surfaces on the 2.9 L for installation of the expansion plugs.:headscrat

So let me get this straight, You were sat on the can taking a ****, while drooling & explaining to your missus that you bought a new welder?

There's a visual I could have gone all day without..

'62 Lincoln Continental. Fixing it up for a good friend. He bought from original owner who used it to run drugs in the late 60's and 70's in California.

building a new sled for my son. he hit a culvert last winter and bent the tunnel slightly. i could have straightened it and re-enforced it but that is not my way. so i am building a new one from scratch. he is pretty excited. then put the finishing touches on my bumper i built for the truck. now all it needs is fog lights to go in but that is good for the winter.

Meetings all day... I think from now on I will call them "CJ's" for "circle jerks", as they rarely seem to accomplish anything.....

Still tidying the garage after sweeping leaves all afternoon. Got a ride-on mower to refurb over the winter for my parents place in France, it was the best kind of deal...Free! Needs the electrics sorting out, a damn good clean and grease, a few missing bits replaced, a full engine service (Briggs and stratton 12hp) and I need to rebuild the cutter deck or find a better one as its rusted out. Then I need to repair my petrol mower as the decks rusted out on that, cheap italian steel! I'm also building a aluminium fan shroud and electric fan setup for my 67 Chevy C10.

Insulating the vaulted ceiling of my 24x36 garage with R30 in preparation for drywall...guy is coming on 11/7 to hang and tape it. Too high for me to deal with 5/8" sheets...his crew will also be able to do it with 12' sheets...I will do the walls myself.

Puttering around, cleaning the yard, fixing the sump pump drain line, tidying the shop, hauling logs out of the bush to build a woodshed. I could have used an ATV or tractor to help with the heavy lifting. :(

Finished up an All Pro lift kit on a Toyota truck, just sold it to the guy and he wanted me to install the lift, build some rock sliders and new weber carb, only took five days of cutting, grinding and welding! ;)

All of my current Projects are business related. My Project is on hold until I get some of the customer stuff out the door.

Refresh of a '91 ZX-7R that has been sitting for 7 years.
Ground up Rebuild of a 2001 R1
Swapping a 250cc into a Honda scooter that was originally a 50cc
Ground up Resto on a 67 VW Bug.

Various Insurance and Service work too, but those are the current fun projects.

That train station is cool do you have any pics or a thread about the whole thing ?

This train set consists of 2000 feet of track with a 80' long tunnel/ a trestle of about 70' /a foot bridge/ a fully stocked train station. 3 passenger cars/ a flatbed/ Have 2 "G16" engines both built by the "Minature Train Company" out of Indiana. The company made these for parks in the 40's. They use a Wisconsin V4 for power. It's taken 5 years of summer work to get it just about completely finished. Had a Halloween party last year with about 70 people and ran the train till 3:00AM- a little over 100 trips.
